Cajun Heritage RV Park

About

Formerly known as Frenchman's Wilderness Campground, Cajun Heritage R.V. Park is nestled in the middle of the largest wetlands swamp in the United States called the Atchafalaya Basin. The Atchafalaya Basin is also the center of Cajun Country and that is exactly what we promote...our Cajun Heritage! Whether you enjoy a tranquil kayak or canoe trip exploring our beautiful cypress swamps or dancing the Saturday night away to a local Cajun band...you will never forget your stay or the Cajun hospitality of Cajun Heritage R.V. Park!

Tents cost the same as rvs

Nice shop has everything you would need. No 110 electric outlets only 30 and 50 amp service. Pool is broken bathroom and showers were good. Clean laundry room. Sites and roads are clean and nice

4.5 stars!

This camp is perfect for us! We have two dogs so green space is important-check. It is hot so a lot of shade trees are important-check. Not stacked in like cordwood-check. This camp is really lovely and provides a lot of space between campsites. The only downside for us was the pads are not so level and no laundry. But we would recommend this place in a heartbeat!

Simple, comfortable campground

Decided to explore a new campground and took a weekend trip here. Very simplistic campground compared to some others we’ve been to recently. Few attractions but overall very quiet and friendly folks. Tip: Make sure to have a water filter on your camper for this one.

Good for a hangout

Very clean place, store has got everything you need. Not much to do around the campground. It’s more of a hangout spot. Not bad overall.
