Loved it!

Had such a great and relaxing time! Rented the kayak for an hour multi times. Water is cold and refreshing. The property is remarkably clean and well kept! Always a worker around to help! We made friends with everyone! Love this gem!

Cajun camping - Crawfish Too!!

Seriously, crawfish and shrimp boiled on the weekends! Campground is right off a state highway. Very kid friendly, a large clean pool, mini golf, and lots of space to run and ride bikes! The sites are mostly gravel, with concrete patio area. We are in site 1, and it's quite level. There is a game…

Clean, Serene Primitive

The cleanliness of the primitive camp sites is unsurpassed. Beautiful views of the lake can be seen from almost all primitive sites. We were visited by raccoons one night, but they were easily & quickly scared away. Campers should definitely be aware & cautious of wildlife in the area, but…

Nice park

The only park on caney lake. Good lake for fishing and water sports, many sites you can park your boat very close.

Absolutely beautiful

Gorgeous lake, so quiet and peaceful. Campsites are well marked, paved roads and sites. Lots of pull thrus with views of the lake. We were only going to stay a night but made it two instead, wished we could have stayed longer! Great trails and fishing. Would definitely come back!

Nice pkace

Bathrooms not the greatest, restaurants are good. Service was bad one night and great the other due to a specific bartender/server. Hot tub is small and pool is shaded a lot of the day. Would stay again.

Overnight stop

Ok park for an overnight. Not too far off the interstate in an older neighborhood. Friendly city employee took our money and gave us a receipt. They are on duty from 3:00 pm until 11:30 pm. Police patrol so we felt safe. $11.00 for the night on level asphalt parking lot. 30 and 50 amp electric and…

Great RV resort with easy access to NOLA

We enjoyed our recent stay here. Pull-thru sites were gravel and fairly level yet pretty close to one another. We enjoyed watching all the private airplanes flying over into a nearby airport and were thankful they weren't loud overnight. The road was recently paved just outside the park but nearby…

Peaceful bliss

Have camped here primitively on a quiet small peninsular and loved it, stayed away from the beaches but they look clean and well kept. Super friendly staff, nice tent site, cleared and well away from gen pop.. loved it and can’t wait to get my roof top tent to enjoy it further as a close to home…

Primitive site, no one around

We slept great here in our tent. Some things to consider: lots of trash left around the area, there was a fire still burning unattended when we arrived, car/truck/tractor/boat traffic is noisy at all hours of the day and night, no water for drinking unless you can dip and filter from the creek…
