For anyone who’s never camped at this location, the campsites are located in a few places (keep reading) which isn’t listed on the map by the (vault) toilets, no running water other than the creek, and NO CELL SERVICE.
Upon turning off the main road into the Raven Cliff Falls area there’s a trail…
i arrived looking for tent camping. Looks like cabins and it was not open. 8:11pm on June 14th, 2021. Maybe its just closed? 1 star.
We stayed on two sites (8 and 11) as a group for a weekend. There isn’t water access from the site but you can see the water from some sites. Sites were on the smaller side and not particularly level front to back. Bath house was clean but a decent uphill walk away from most sites as there is only…

Easy to get too. Great location on Lake Lanier. The sites are very large and trees between most sites. Lots of water view sites, some have easier lake access from your site than others for our kayaks. Has boat launch, huge beach area, older bathroom facilities but very clean. Did not try showers. I…

Clean campground. Friendly staff. Great scenery all around.
The site we stayed at was a tent site with no power or water. But it was a large site and right on the water. We were able to swim all weekend.

Clean, private, easy access to water nice place to camp
Love this place easy to get in, clean, cheap, lots of walking room. Concrete beach not so great.
Camped here several times. The gorge is a thing of beauty with several overlooks around the rim. There is a nice trail from the campground that will lead to the gorge. At this wtiting permits are not being issued to hike to the bottom of the gorge. Dogs are permitted on the trails except the…
We stayed here in the off season, so it may be different when it gets busier. The property is absolutely gorgeous, but some of the buildings need some attention. There is a bridge to one part of the property that is completely collapsed. The playground is an absolute joke too. Yes the the…

Nice spot. Pit toilet and a bear proof trash can.
Spent another 3 nights at Tugaloo State Park. It is our happy place. Our campsite was extraordinary. Beautiful sunrise each morning and the weather was perfect camping on the lake weather. There is so much to do at this park or just relax watching the boats go by.
