Nice and Quiet

Nice campsites with water and electricity. Almost all the sites have view of lake and many have access to the lake for swimming or paddle boarding or boating. Nice breeze off the lake. Will be back many times.

Beautiful camping

My family and I camped here for the weekend. Our campsite was beautiful and level. We could easily accommodate our pop-up camper and a 4-person tent with room to spare! My son was able to play and explore. My only critic would be that we were a little let down at the condition of the beach and that there was no playground when there was one listed on the grounds map. We will definitely be returning nonetheless.

Site 6 = ants!

Campground with beautiful lake views and beach. Site 6 was inundated with big carpenter ants that bite! Sites are level with a nice little distance between. The unkept bathrooms weren’t clean, stall locks were inoperable, showers broken with clogged drains. Only three restroom buildings for a campground with 100+ sites.

Great views and large sites

Easy to get too. Great location on Lake Lanier. The sites are very large and trees between most sites. Lots of water view sites, some have easier lake access from your site than others for our kayaks. Has boat launch, huge beach area, older bathroom facilities but very clean. Did not try showers. I believe they have laundry at some of them. The walk in tent sites were very large and easy to walk to, all with lake views. The campground was very clean and checking process was smooth. We were able to get in before 3pm because our site was vacant. Picnic tables are a little ruff but very functional. Fire pits are great and drain well. We had thunderstorm each evening. 🤪 had places for our golden retrievers to access water easily for swimming. We are enjoying the COE (core of engineer campgrounds). We enjoyed our site 19 and look forward to another visit.

Wonderful Lake Lanier

This is a wonderful easy access multi sited campground. Boat ramps and lots of trees. Good beaches and lots of room in between sites.

Close to the lake

But not that close. Literally its on the lake, but there's not a lot of beach access, for those who want to spend a lot of time swimming. Also, we were right on top of our neighbor, and it didn't really show that on the website. It appeared more spaced out. But it was nice and we had a good time

Beautiful lakefront park

Had a great time here for a weekend. Very quiet area. Most of the sites are up a steep bank from the water, so it’s a bit tricky to get a kayak in the water from camp, but it is doable.

Lovely!

What a beautiful site! Nice and shady. Near the water, but higher up and hard to walk down. Went down to fishing area. Kinda hilly and turns.
