Spring Gulch RV Campground

Located in Lyndell, PA, Brandywine Creek Campground is a wooded, tranquil campground situated on the banks of the trout-stocked East Brandywine Creek, with several acres of manicured lawns and a large fishing pond. We are the closest Pennsylvania campground to Historic Philadelphia at only 32 miles away (with nearby regional rail service readily available), as well as also being the closest to Valley Forge National Park, at only 21 miles away. Our pet-friendly campground is open seasonally from April 1st to November 1st. All of our RV sites have full hook-ups. Ice and firewood can be purchased on site for your convenience. The campground borders Marsh Creek State Park, connecting us to their miles of hiking and biking trails, as well as boat rentals and great fishing. Call today and plan your stay!

The Best Car Camping Near Valley View, Delaware

The newly-renovated campground offers sites with three-point hookups (water, electric and sewer), as well as four horse campsites without hookups. If you prefer a bed to a bedroll, stay in one of our yurts! These round stationary structures with canvas walls feature a single and double bed bunked together, a double bed-sized futon, an outdoor seating area, and outdoor deck.

Campgrounds at Cape Henlopen, Killens Pond, Lums Pond and Trap Pond State Park are open year-round. The Cottages at Indian River Marina are also open year-round, and the campground at Delaware Seashore State Park is open year-round, although during the winter months, it is open for self-contained units only.

The Division of Parks and Recreation has a Central Reservation Service. Although reservations are not required, we strongly recommend that you make one to ensure that accommodations are available. There is no additional expense to make a reservation.

Reservations can be placed for campgrounds, cabins, yurts, the Cottages at Indian River Marina, and Fort Delaware tours, and Killen's Pond Waterpark..

Lums Pond State Park

The campground is open Friday and Saturday nights only. Two camping units are permitted at each site, one unit must be a tent. Sleeping in personal vehicles is not permitted.

Perfect for hanging out, picking up some supplies, or playing a bit of pool, the Lodge at Shady Grove Campground is where we gather to enjoy the beauty of the area together.

No matter where you are at Shady Grove, you can always stay connected thanks to our park-wide (and free) wifi.

Bath House - 
Our newly-remodeled bath house features clean facilities and pristine showers, offering you all the clean comforts of home during your stay. (Closed during the off-season.)

Laundry Room - 
With plenty of machines to service all your laundry needs, Shady Grove's laundry room gets plenty of use from our extended-stay campers.

Propane Station - 
Need a refill? Stop by Shady Grove's very own propane station to fuel up and keep the grill (and the party!) going.
