Go somewhere else

I do not recommend this campground. From overpriced nothing special sites. To super tight streets. No campsite WiFi. Cable does not have any channels. Sites are nothing special. Security will knit pick rules and make new ones as weekend goes on. Changed noise time from 11pm to 1030 on Memorial Day…

4-Star Camping Near the Beach

We stayed at Holly Shores for just a one-night getaway over Mother’s Day weekend.

The park was easy to find and located just a few minutes’ drive from Wildwood beaches and a few extra minutes to Cape May beaches and attractions. The entry gate was tight with no room to park while registering.…

Camping Gem

This was part two of our shakedown cruise for our new RV. We stayed just for one night, but wish we could have stayed longer.

The park was easy to find and located a short distance from the highway. We were met at the entry gate with a personalized folder containing lots of helpful…

Orderly camp

Campground is clean and orderly. From what I’ve seen staying twice in April, the owner drives around to check on things. My kids had a lot of fun and made a lot of friends. They had a great trip. Campground is also

not overly huge.

Nice park...large wide open sites

We spent one night here last week on our way to NYC. Staff was great. Sites were nicely spread out. Full hook ups.

Small and Nice

This was our first time here and it’s only an hour from home. I was hopeful for another nice DE state park and I wasn’t disappointed. All DE parks are nicely laid out. There were shaded spots and sunny spots. Bathhouse was clean. The camp loop is a nice walk but there are also trails. They were…

Quaint State Park

Our GPS wanted to take us to the main park entrance on Howell School Rd versus Red Lion Rd to the campground entrance on the other side of the pond. The gate and store were not open so we went directly to back-in site 26 with FHUs. Our reservation sheet and vehicle pass were on the post when we…

Nature nature nature

The woods are full of nature and diverse. species. We counted over 17 different species of fungi in a 25 foot stretch! I loved staying in the beautiful cabins and enjoying the nature strolls. Would most definitely return.

Scenic and quiet escape

Clean and well kept grounds, quiet atmosphere. Lums is very small and can be hard to get a weekend reservation. Campground is a short trail walk to the lake for fishing. On the other side of the lake there’s boat rentals and a zip line. Lums is one of favorite, however there isn’t much to do in…

Cute campground

We stayed in tents. Clean facilities. Teepees looked awesome. Want to return and stay in a teepee.

Rustic

The cabins are more rustic than most, which I enjoyed. While there was a stove the heating, which was necessary in November, was accomplished via a stove. The hiking is also very accessible Because it's basically pancake flat terrain. The only thing I did not like about the cabin was that it's…
