Arapaho Valley Ranch is a gorgeous family-owned guest ranch in Colorado’s beautiful Grand County. We are located at the base of the Indian Peaks Wilderness, within a 2-hour drive from Denver.

This shared room sleeps up to twelve people - four beds in each of three connecting rooms. There is also a common area with a communal kitchen and lounge space. The bunks are sturdy and comfortable double stacks made from rustic pine wood. No pets are allowed in the hostel since its a shared space. The hostel is mixed gender.

**HUMAN DECENCY REQUIRED: **All guests are expected to act in a manner which upholds the law, and is respectful and kind to all guests and staff of the lodge at all times.



**RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE:** A-Lodge Boulder is privately owned and operated. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason(s) that does not violate Federal or State laws. The Hostel has a zero tolerance policy in which we will refuse to admit or refuse service or accommodation in our hostel or may remove a person, without refund, who refuses to abide by the reasonable standards and policies established by the State of Colorado, City of Boulder, and the owners for the operation and management of the lodge.

A-Lodge Boulder will refuse service or evict a guest for: refusal or failure to pay for accommodations; being under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any other intoxicating substance and acts in a disorderly fashion as to disturb the peace of other guests or is not in compliance with state liquor laws; acts in a disorderly fashion as to disturb the peace of other guests; is unable to properly supervise their children at all times, seeks to use the hostel for an unlawful purpose; seeks to bring into the hostel: an unlawfully possessed firearm; or something, including an explosive or hazardous or toxic substance, that is unlawful to possess and that may be dangerous to other persons; destroys, damages, defaces, or threatens harm to hostel property or guests; causes or permits persons to exceed the maximum allowable occupancy of room, refuses to abide by the reasonable standards or policies established by A-Lodge Boulder for the operation and management of our lodge.

**Discrimination of any kind is not permitted on our property, and we will evict any guest, without refund, for discrimination against staff or another guest due to race, gender, sexual orientation, dietary preferences or religion.**



**CANCELLATIONS: **Cancellations must be made 7-days prior to arrival for a refund and amendments to guest reservations must be made 48-hours prior to the date of arrival. Guest arrival date begins at 3:00 p.m. the date of arrival. By accepting and approving this cancellation policy, guests authorize that their card on file may be charged a cancellation fee, equal to the first night stay, if the reservation is not cancelled more than 7-days prior to check in date.

​Cancellations due to changed travel plans, weather conditions, or cancelled flights do **NOT** waive cancellation fees.



**NO SHOWS: **In the event of a no-show, guests will be charged the first night's stay and any required government tax. No-shows will be charged at 2:00 a.m. on the morning following the guest's intended arrival.



**PAYMENT:** A-Lodge Boulder accepts payment in cash or via debit or credit card. We do not accept checks, money orders, or virtual payment options like Apple Pay. Guests must pay with a card in their name.



**CHECK IN & CHECK OUT: **Check in begins at 4:00 PM and check out ends at 11:00 AM. Early check in is based on availability and never guaranteed. Late checkout incurs a twenty-five ($25.00 USD) fee.

Guests must show a credit/debit card in their name with funds at check in. Persons not staying at the Hostel cannot pay for a guest's room, and payment can never be taken over the phone. Guests must be 18 years or older to check in and register for a room. No one under the age of 18 allowed in the hostel.

Proof of continued travel, including but not limited to a bus ticket, train ticket, plane ticket, future hostel or hotel reservation, is required upon arrival for checking into the hostel. Colorado residents may be asked to show proof of activity including but not limited to concert tickets, sporting game tickets, or other event tickets to stay in dormitories. Boulder residents are not permitted to stay in the hostel.

The Hostel will hold guest baggage for up to 24-hours prior to and following arrival and departure. Baggage recognized by major U.S. Airlines ONLY will be accepted. Garbage bags or forms of packaging not accepted by a major U.S. Airline will not be accepted. ​

​Baggage stored longer than 24 hours may incur charges of up to $10.00 per item per day prior to or after the date and time that luggage is stored. Stored items unclaimed after 5 days may be disposed of without notice and without liability or claim towards the ownership and/or management of 11th Avenue Hostel.



**HOSTEL STAYS: **The hostel is a space for travelers and not long term residency. Guests staying in the hostel must show proof of travel when checking in, and may only stay a total of **14-days in a calendar year**. Boulder, CO, locals may not stay in dormitories and must reserve a private room.



**SMOKING:** A-Lodge Boulder is a smoke-friendly **property**. Smoking or vaping of any kind is NOT permitted in any building or within 25 feet of any building entrance. Guests smoking or vaping in or within 25 feet of any building will be removed without a refund and charged up to $500 in damage fees and an immediate eviction without a refund. There is a designated smoking area on the property. Inquire at the front desk for boundaries.



**PETS & SERVICE ANIMALS:** The Hostel does not allow pets, ever. Emotional support animals, comfort animals, or therapy dogs are considered pets and not permitted in our building.

The Hostel allows only service animals identified by ADA Title II on site. Service animals must be in the company of their handler at all times, and may never be left in a guest room alone or off leash on property. Service animals may require a cleaning deposit to be held on file. Service animals behaving inappropriately will be required to leave.



**HOUSEKEEPING:** Rooms must be available for access by housekeeping and maintenance at all times. Housekeeping and maintenance staff will always knock prior to entering. There is no daily housekeeping, and housekeeping of private rooms is provided upon request. Long-term stays do not receive housekeeping and are responsible for cleaning rooms and report damage to management immediately. Long-term stays are required to provide immediate access for routine room inspections upon A-Lodge Boulder management request.



**FIREARMS OR OPEN FLAME:** Open fires, flames or personal cooking grills, either charcoal or gas, and fireworks are not allowed anywhere on A-Lodge Boulder property. A-Lodge Boulder has designated fire pits and grills and reserves the right to refuse use at any time. Guests may not bring firearms onto the property. Candles, incense, essential oils (diffusing, vaporizing, etc.) are prohibited. These items and activities will be treated as smoking, a fine assessed, and the guest may be evicted without a refund.



**NO PARTIES:** A-Lodge Boulder does not allow in-room parties. No parties, loud disturbances or noise nuisances are permitted on property. If a party is taking place, A-Lodge Boulder will issue a warning to guests. If the warning is not heeded, guests will be required to leave without a refund.



Any events or large gatherings must be contracted ahead of time with A-Lodge Boulder management via events@a-lodge.com or dylan@a-lodge.com.

A-Lodge Boulder - Hostel

A-Lodge Boulder is a 30 room lodge just 2 miles above downtown Boulder, Colorado. We are located in a wilderness area of Boulder Canyon, right at the junction with Fourmile Canyon.

We have a hot tub, grills, seasonal pool, meeting space, outdoor beer garden, bathrooms and showers for campers and a wonderful trail to Betasso Preserve right from our property. The Fourmile Creek runs through our property along our large lawn area. Great views and you might see bear, deer, elk, moose, foxes, or even a mountain lion!

Tent sites are just a short walk, about 100 feet, up to our platforms. We provide the platform for your tent as well as access to all of our lodge's amenities; front desk, lobby, bar & beer garden, fire pits, grills, bathrooms, shower, outdoor common areas, free wifi, etc.

Our guests love us too! "First time camper and A-Lodge visitor here, I’d definitely recommend checking this place out if you’re traveling to the Boulder area. The tent platforms were easy to get to and spaced far enough apart for privacy and generally a nice break from setting up a tent on a gravel pad. WiFi was stable throughout my visit and I was able to get some work done before heading home."

We are located in a wilderness area of Boulder Canyon, right at the junction with Fourmile Canyon.

We have two #vanlife sites and four tent sites with access to 24/7 bathrooms and shower.

We have a hot tub, charcoal grills, seasonal pool, meeting space, beergarden, and a slack line park!

Campers can utilize these daily rentals: cruiser bikes, crash pads and snowshoes!

There's a wonderful trail to Betasso Preserve right from our property.

The Fourmile Creek runs through our property along our large lawn area.

Great views and you might see bear, deer, elk, moose, foxes, or even a mountain lion!



A-Lodge Boulder - Car Camping

## Overview

Camp Dick is the site of a Civilian Conservation Corps camp that was established in the 1930s. It is located just off the Peak to Peak Scenic Byway, on the Middle Saint Vrain Creek.

## Recreation

The Middle Saint Vrain Creek is a good fly-fishing stream where anglers cast for rainbow, brown and cutthroat trout.   
  
Many trails in the vicinity are open to hiking and biking, including Sourdough and Buchanan Pass trails. The Indian Peaks Wilderness boundary is four miles from the west end of the campground.  
  
Mountain biking is allowed on the first five miles of Buchanan Pass Trail. Bikers can ride a loop from Peaceful Valley or Camp Dick, via Buchanan Pass Trail and Middle Saint Vrain Road, or Coney Cutoff and Coney Creek Roads and Sourdough Trail.   
  
The Middle Saint Vrain and Bunce School roads are popular among off-road vehicle enthusiasts.  
  
Guided horseback riding is available at Peaceful Valley Lodge, which is just over a mile away.

## Facilities

Campsites will accommodate tents and RVs. Sites includes picnic tables and campfire ring with grill. Water spigots, vault toilets, and trash services are provided at the campground. Firewood may be purchased during the peak season. There are no electrical hook-ups, dump stations, or showers. Tents must remain on tent pads.

## Natural Features

The campground is situated on the banks of the Middle Saint Vrain Creek in a glacial valley surrounded by mixed conifer and aspen forests and an open meadow. 

## Nearby Attractions

The town of Allenspark is less than 10 miles north of the campground, and has a restaurant and a grocery store.   
  
Rocky Mountain National Park's main entrance is 25 miles north of the campground, in Estes Park. With lush valleys and craggy peaks reaching elevations higher than 14,000 feet, visitors are provided opportunities for countless breathtaking experiences and adventures. Scenic driving, hiking, backpacking, fishing, horseback riding and wildlife viewing are popular activities available within the park.  
  
Estes Park is a full-service community. Dining, shopping, rafting, fly fishing, horseback riding and golfing opportunities are available there. Lake Estes offers boating, sailboarding and fishing.

Camp Dick

This campground has a total of 47 campsites for tents, campers, trailers, or RVs. Picnic tables, fire grates, water, vault toilets, and trash services are provided. All campsites with a tent pad have a bear locker. Eight people are allowed per site except for units 12 and 32 which will accommodate 15 people each.

Pawnee Campground visitors are subject to Brainard Lake Recreation Area fees.

Situated at the foot of the Continental Divide, Pawnee Campground is in a mature spruce-fir forest. Be prepared for cold and wet weather at any time. Hiking trails west of this campground enter into the Indian Peaks Wilderness.

Pawnee Campground is located on the east side of Brainard Lake and is the most popular campground in Boulder Ranger District. The scenery is spectacular and the forest provides deep shade, however, at its high elevation of 10,300 feet, Pawnee Campground is cooler and rainier than other campgrounds in the area. The operating season is short, typically lasting only from late June through early September.



Pawnee Campground

This beautiful, 45-acre equestrian center offers beautiful mountain views along with space for your horses. The site is only 10 minutes east of idyllic college town, Boulder. There are 2 sites, each accommodating up to 6 guests. Site 1: NW of a big barn. Electric and water are 75 feet away. Site 2: No electricity, but water is available. Site marked with post and white mailbox. Near horse pastures.



M & M Equestrian Center

The Olive Ridge Campground is located within the Roosevelt National Forest, situated near the southeastern corner of Rocky Mountain National Park at an elevation of 8,350 feet. Recreation Olive Ridge is close to the Wild Basin area of the Rocky Mountain National Park. Several trailheads are in the area, including Wild Basin, Finch Lake and Sandbeach Lake trails. Popular activities include fishing, hiking and mountain climbing. Facilities There are 56 sites in the campground. Twenty six are suitable for RV camping and 30 are more suitable for tents. Tents must be confined to the provided tent pads (14'x16'). There is a maximum of eight people per single site. Sites #26 and #39 are oversized and will accommodate 10 people at an additional fee. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring or grill. Vault toilets, andd trash services are provided. Firewood is for sale in the campground. Natural Features This peaceful campground is heavily wooded with a mixture of ponderosa pine and aspen trees. The interior roads are gravel/dirt. Afternoon thunderstorms should be expected during the summer months. Nearby Attractions Rocky Mountain National Park's main entrance is 14 miles north of the campground, in Estes Park. With lush valleys and craggy peaks reaching elevations higher than 14,000 feet, visitors are provided opportunities for countless breathtaking experiences and adventures.
