Location is nice. But it can get packed quick.

Went up for some close Winter camping back in March. There was still a decent amount of people camping around us but it was super nice and quiet. Spaces are very private the farther back you go. there are 12 numbered sites spaced well apart the farther back you go. I have been here before in the…

Fantastic well-kept campground at a pretty reasonable price.

Went to the campground and stayed for five days with my parents and grandma. Not only were the staff super friendly, they helped us get our RV parked and leveled, and continued to check on us during our stay to make sure that we didn’t need anything. All of the staff were super knowledgeable. This…

Pleasant Area

Camped at site E22. Close proximity to showers and bathrooms. Parked a 21 foot trailer. Surface was somewhat level. Had to raise the front a bit but wasn't that drastic. Notice-hammocks are not allowed at eagle campground. Understandable, they want to protect the pine trees.

Good, Good’n’Busy

This is such a convenient spot to camp! Tons of people camp here. The lake is nice but also just as busy.

Easy to back in, electric.

It’s Ok

The sites are nicely spread apart for the most part. The only real issue is the seemingly continuous parade of ATVs. I heard from one of the Sheriff’s Deputies that an ATV rental outfit to the north is recommending people to go to Gordon Gulch. It made sense since there were a lot of helmeted…

Fun and lots of sun

Good campsites, a little close to next site but overall good experience and my dog was able to roam a little off leash and good hiking and fishing

Clean, serene, and green

This is the first time I've camped in Fall River Road and it is wonderful! Best part, FREE! With hiking trails, water(creek) and a beautiful camp site

Run Park

The office staff is very helpful. In the south part of the park, it is an asphalt parking lot with full hookups. The north part of the park has trees. The sites in the north section are gravel, dirt, asphalt, and a small number of concrete pads. The south area can handle large rigs. The picnic area…

Clean, friendly staff, beautiful location.

We pulled in late in a 38 ft Class A without a reservation and they had 1 spot in the late check-in box that would accommodate our motor home. Very clean and well maintained RV park. Beautiful view. Extremely friendly staff. Our site had concrete pad…was uneven but totally fine with our auto…

Nice RV park in a fabulous location !

This park is located just outside of Estes Park, right along the river. The park is very clean and the staff is exceptionally helpful. The sites are level, but rather small and close together. There are no trees in most of the sites. The facilities were acceptable, although the pool and hot tub…

Large sites with good shade!

We stayed here one night during the week just to escape the Denver heat.

Pros: sites are large and most of them have good privacy/shade. About half the sites are right along the river. The bathroom on site was also cleaner than other campground outhouses.

Cons: the road is rough getting here.…

nice but not for me

Super family friendly camping space. Best spots seemed to be for tent campers, but I was car camping and my space was decent. Super lively during the day, but mellows out at night. Nice bathrooms, lovely river flowing through, some light hiking you can do if you want , and walkably close to a…

Close to All RMNP Has to Offer

Loved being in the park and having easy access to all the park has to offer. Especially with the new timed entry requirements. However, Loop C in which we stayed was very tight between sites and the old growth pines have been removed and replaced with younger/shorter trees. Still enjoyed some elk…

Spacious and serene

Acres large campsite that opens to a boulder studded meadow. A little tight backing through the trees but doable. The roadway runs by so there is some traffic noise. Otherwise nearly perfect. No water. Here mud June and there are open spots FF. No one stays all that long with no water at hand.

Nice get away spot

Went the week before Memorial Day '21 and found several spots available. Sites are small but with just me and my lab it was perfect. John the site manager was very friendly and not an uptight site manager. Had a nice little hike around the area. My lab loved being able to swim in river. I will make…
