Great for families

Very good family camping, close playground, and AMAZING hikes for all levels! Downside is campsites are right on top of each other so very little privacy :/

Summer Cool Off Haven

I have seen a lot of properties through my travels which are available to all those who choose to explore.   While many sites have a pro and a con, I couldn't find a single con with this site from the size of the campsites to the popular cool off destination for summer in the swimming hole, this…

Hike in sites are great!

Reservable sites are nearly on top of each other. Might be good if you have kids with you. There is a playground adjacent and a pool/bathhouse close by. We opted for the hike in site and it was perfect for us. Off-road and hiking were great! Views are breathtaking!!

Great View of Dardanelle Rock and Arkansas River

We camped here with some friends and really enjoyed it. The lock and dam was a neat site to look at along with the view of Dardanelle Rock across the river. Mount Nebo State Park and Lake Dardanelle State Park are very short drives from the campground as well as the town of Russellville with…

Heavener Runestone State Park in

The View is spectacular! The host is very nice and the bathhouse is clean. We didn’t get a chance to do any hiking. I’m sure it would have been beautiful. There is only one site with electricity for RV hook ups.

Well maintained campsite

We were in site one. Check-in was easy except all the signs said reserved-but i don’t think they take reservations. Bathrooms were fine and trash bins were handy.

Amazing adventure!

Set up for two nights and 3 days here in our RTT. We enjoyed the beautiful views from the camping area. The trails are all ranging. We hiked around 5 miles and wished we had more time. So many great ops for pictures. Got to see so much wildlife as well. Only down side is that the bathhouse only…

Our first time in Arkansas will be tough to beat!

Incredibly well-maintained park! Wonderful hiking for all abilities - great for multigenerational groups. Incredible scenery can be seen without having to be a great hiker. Bathrooms and showers were very clean. We tent so stayed in campground D - more trees and privacy.
