About 2.5 miles past the entrance of the Jack Creek Recreation Area, this free dispersed site sits down an undesignated dirt track off Jack Creek Road, a mixed dirt-and-gravel surface wide enough for two vehicles to pass. The site accommodates up to four rigs at truck-camper size or smaller, with a level dirt surface, a rock fire ring, and heavy shade in summer. No T-Mobile cell service is available. Fishing and wading are possible at the adjacent creek depending on water level, and the Sugar Creek hiking trail is a short drive away. Campers who want a developed alternative can find primitive camping near Ouachita National Forest with more amenities nearby.
