No real beach but the site at the day-use boat ramp is better than the campground swimming area," shares Doug G.

Swimming options: Kettle Campground maintains a clean pool away from highway noise. "The bathrooms were clean, though the door to the woman's side kept getting stuck. The campground was close enough to Eureka Springs that you can get downtown in 10 minutes, but you don't have all the traffic," notes Ken K.
Nature learning opportunities: Roaring River offers educational experiences with its fish hatchery. "You can walk the holding tanks and feed the trout from baby to ready to be released into the river. There is also a cave you can walk in where you'll find a pool of water that goes for miles underground," explains Wendy M.

"We had the back end hanging off a 6 foot drop- I have photos- and if our friends had walked out the back door where their room is they would have surely been injured," warns Cheryl L. about poor site assignments at one campground.
