    Thousand Trails Verde Valley

    Our favorite Thousand Trails campground!

This place is huge! Nestled in the red rock country of Arizona, this Thousand Trails campground offers a scenic and tranquil escape. The sites are well-spaced, and the amenities include a pool, hot tub, 2 dog parks, hiking trails, river access and clubhouse. Its proximity to Sedona, Jerome and local wineries makes it an excellent choice for those seeking relaxation and exploration.

    Verde Ranch RV Resort

Very good site for large rigs. All sites have loose rockbase.

All hookups available at all sites. There is a dog park and a walking path along the river in which the dogs took a dip.

    Zane Grey RV Village

BEAUTIFUL campground! Plan at for at least a couple of nights!

This was just a stop along our route, and we were so bummed we only stayed here one night! Shady, lots of trees, pristine condition of all facilities including dog park, walking trail next to the creek, and large enough sites for our 42' rig. There was live music on night! Furthermore, they were generous and understanding of an emergency situation that happened on the day we needed to leave. The owner even brought my kids popsicles while we packed up! Ask him what he used to do for a living... he'll have a fun telling you about it. Beautiful campground I couldn't recommend more.

Verde River RV Resort & Cottages

    Wonderful experience

We went over Thanksgiving and had a splendid time. The staff is super nice and awesome. There was so much to do from mini golf, painting classes, live music, dinners, karaoke, and free breakfast 3 days a week, hot tub and heated piol. There are lots of trees and it’s a great park to walk around. At the back you have the River you can walk around and you are surrounded with mountain views. Very dog friendly and they even have a dog park, and “office” dog. I would rebook here again we had such a lovely experience.

Woody Mountain Campground & RV Park

    Camp in the pines

Brought our motorcycle for day trip to Sedona. Conveniently located for the gorgeous drive. Camped in site 6, small trailer site. Came in after office hours. Paperwork, including park map, ready for us next to office. It was dark, so not super easy to find site, but little street signs helped. All dirt, so glad it wasn't muddy. All sites show wheelchair accessible, but don't see how. Charcoal grills and picnic benches scattered everywhere. Community grill area, laundry, clean bathrooms, dog park and newer playground. They are currently improving campground, so lots of tractor noise. We chose an electric and water only site. Dump station next to dog park/laundry/bathroom area. Didn't go to General Store, but they advertise a coffee and wine bar, and breakfast sandwiches. Right on Hwy 66, so a bit of traffic, and we could hear the train, but it wasn't bad. We will definitely be back and look forward to seeing the planned improvements.

    Railside RV Ranch

    Great location and staff

The campground is right off of the highway. Close to the town of Williams and Route 66. Clean restrooms, showers, and laundry room. There is a nice dog park that is along the Grand Canyon railroad track. If we’re in the area again, will be staying here!

    Lo Lo Mai Springs Resort

Nice oasis in the summer heat

We stayed here in June which is a hot time to camp in Arizona. This campground has Oak Creek running through it which is a great place to cool off. We stayed here while we visited Sedona which is not too far away. Mature trees provide shade at most sites. The mosquitoes were pretty bad which sometimes just a part of camping near water. Clean restrooms and showers.

    Williams-Circle Pines KOA

Grand canyon, National forests, nearby Flagstaff

Nice park, plenty of amenities, dog park, pull thru sites..close but not unbearable...plenty of room for tip outs..Close to Williams, hour drive to Grand canyon NP. Seems like there's abundant KOA bashing going on these days...This park is not one of them...
