Oak Creek Mobilodge

Oak Creek Mobilodge provides RV camping with full hookups in a residential setting between permanent mobile homes. The campground accommodates RVs up to 36 feet with electric, water, and sewer connections, plus WiFi and basic restroom facilities with showers.

The layout places RV sites in the middle section of an established trailer park community. Sites sit close together on gravel surfaces without picnic tables or fire pits. "You are provided with a parking spot in the MIDDLE of a very old trailer park," notes one reviewer. Access requires navigating a steep entrance driveway from the main highway, which some RV drivers find challenging during departure.

The property sits within walking distance of Oak Creek, which provides the main outdoor attraction for visitors. Rancho Sedona RV Park offers another full-hookup option nearby. Campers can walk to Tlaquepaque shopping area in under a mile and continue to uptown Sedona from there.

Electrical hookups occasionally malfunction, requiring backup connections to 30-amp service. Cell reception works adequately for most carriers, though WiFi service proves spotty. The facility operates with reservations available and allows pets, functioning primarily as an overnight parking solution for RV travelers needing proximity to Sedona attractions.

Basic RV parking in a trailer park setting with tight sites and minimal amenities. Many mentioned the excellent creek access and proximity to Sedona attractions, though several noted concerns about privacy and camping atmosphere.

Harrowing entrance and exit.

Hard to find the entrance but once we did, it was do-or-die. The steep driveway down to the sites was scary since I didn't know if I could get out once I got in. Sites were stacked like cordwood and tight. Lots of permanent single-wide trailers and only 6 or 7 RV sites. The 50-amp electric hook-up malfunctioned so I dog-boned to 30-amp and got by. Called the camp owner and she said someone would be out that day to fix it. We left. It was the steepest pull out of there onto a busy highway. Glad my diesel truck has turbo.

The basics

If your looking for a rv site close to town with the basic hookups this works. No frills, gravel everywhere. Laundry room and small bathroom and shower. Safe and comfortable. Spotty wifi.

Oak creek mobile lodge

NO PICNIC TABLES, NO FIRE PIT OR GRILL! The description provided by this place leaves a lot of details out. You are provided with a parking spot in the MIDDLE of a very old trailer park. The only thing that kept us from leaving immediately was the 1 min walk down to the creek. There is no privacy and you never feel like you are camping. Beside going down to the creek, we spent all of our time in our Rv which defeats the whole outdoor experience you are looking for on vacations in Sedona. Wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it to anyone who is looking for anything more than a overnight parking spot.

Basic RV Camping Close to Sedona

This is just a basic RV Park that is nestled in amongst older trailers. The RV part is in the middle section and on either side is the trailer park. So don't expect much in the way of conveniences other than the provided water, electric and sewer. There is decent Antenna service and Wifi so I did not need their cable TV. It is less than a mile from the shopping at Tlaquepaque. It can easily be walked to as well as continuing your stroll to uptown Sedona shopping. As far as RV spots in the Sedona area, there is only two within the area and this is the only one that seems to have spots available.
