Oak Creek Mobilodge

Description

We are one mile from the heart of Sedona, conveniently located on Highway 179. Enjoy Oak Creek access, right here at the park, for swimming, fishing, waterside picnics, and scenic relaxation. There are nearby trails for hiking, mountain biking and ATVs. Hillside Plaza, Tlaquepaque, art galleries, shops, spas, theaters and some of Sedona's finest restaurants are just some of the attractions for you to explore on your stay here. Several golf courses are close by as well. The local shuttle bus can get you to any of these places, if you’d rather not drive and the bus stop is only a short walking distance away from the park. Several additional attractions are within a short driving distance, wineries, casino, state parks and national monuments. Did you know the Grand Canyon is only two hours away? It’s the perfect distance from Sedona for a day trip! On top of all this, we have the most reasonable prices in town!

Harrowing entrance and exit.

Hard to find the entrance but once we did, it was do-or-die. The steep driveway down to the sites was scary since I didn't know if I could get out once I got in. Sites were stacked like cordwood and tight. Lots of permanent single-wide trailers and only 6 or 7 RV sites. The 50-amp electric hook-up malfunctioned so I dog-boned to 30-amp and got by. Called the camp owner and she said someone would be out that day to fix it. We left. It was the steepest pull out of there onto a busy highway. Glad my diesel truck has turbo.

The basics

If your looking for a rv site close to town with the basic hookups this works. No frills, gravel everywhere. Laundry room and small bathroom and shower. Safe and comfortable. Spotty wifi.

Oak creek mobile lodge

NO PICNIC TABLES, NO FIRE PIT OR GRILL! The description provided by this place leaves a lot of details out. You are provided with a parking spot in the MIDDLE of a very old trailer park. The only thing that kept us from leaving immediately was the 1 min walk down to the creek. There is no privacy and you never feel like you are camping. Beside going down to the creek, we spent all of our time in our Rv which defeats the whole outdoor experience you are looking for on vacations in Sedona. Wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it to anyone who is looking for anything more than a overnight parking spot.

Basic RV Camping Close to Sedona

This is just a basic RV Park that is nestled in amongst older trailers. The RV part is in the middle section and on either side is the trailer park. So don't expect much in the way of conveniences other than the provided water, electric and sewer. There is decent Antenna service and Wifi so I did not need their cable TV. It is less than a mile from the shopping at Tlaquepaque. It can easily be walked to as well as continuing your stroll to uptown Sedona shopping. As far as RV spots in the Sedona area, there is only two within the area and this is the only one that seems to have spots available.
