TravelerWe stayed here the weekend(2 of us) and just walked the road that it was on. there isn’t a lot to do so you have to bring stuff. fishing is not good- this lady said it was a pond full of leeches. there was a “toilet” and nice spots to sit by the pond. there was no service but the spot was really quiet and very far apart from other spots. we did not run into anyone 1 car that drove down the road.
GuideRestate here , six nights at the very tail end of the season. We were the only ones left in the park , so it was very peaceful and quiet , lots of birds and squirrels and rabbits , which kept our dog and our cat entertained. This is like a state park with gravel parking spots, gravel dirt road on the way in, very well maintained. Lots of site options with and without power, full hookups with long big rig options are in the middle of the loop. But many of the sites within the park itself are not level, make sure you have leveling blocks or you look at your site options before you park. Very friendly, helpful people in the office.The bathrooms were clean , but basic. You pay for the shower with quarters. There are some nice little cabins scattered around to have family visit that don't have tents or trailers. Very niceChildren's play equipment near the entry and bathroom. Certainly more affordable than the fancy resorts. Starlink works well here. There's an old Speedway nearby, you can see it on google satellite view, but it is no longer used.So don't worry about that.
TravelerThere are 3 sites at this location. The 2 southern sites can fit decent size trailers. The middle one, which we stayed in, for my 26” trailer pulled by my suburban. Pulled straight in and pulled straight out. Site was clean and the views were awesome!
GuideGreat little camping area with 2 spaces set up with fire pits. A boat launch and some four wheeler trailers along with hiking trails. Very peaceful! Camped here on way to Lake Superior and liked it so much, we stayed again on way back. Wasn’t busy but was early in the work week. We did hear wolves the second night.
ScoutDefinitely not meant for RV's or campers. To get to the site you must take a long sandy path that becomes muddy after rain. The path is also very uneven and has several pits where a camper can get stuck. The actual camp site is nice though. Visited in September so bugs were minimal and it was quite. The water near by sounds quite nice.

Traveler100 yards off main road. 4 very well keep sites right on the lake with boat landing and a well keep vault toilet. During the week the main raod was very busy with ATV/UTV traffic. Can't imagine the traffic on weekends. A lot of vehicles driving in out of the camp area also. Only stayed one night due to the amount of traffic in and around the campground and Very rude campers that set up in the site next to us. They Started up a generator right away. I asked if the were going to run the g at enerator the whole time. The reply was "So what if we do. He Already intoxicated at noon. Packed up and left.
ScoutStopped here on the way home from further north. Lots of logging in the way in. Both campsites were taken but I found a spot near boat ramp. (Don’t block it though.) There is a third walk in site near the ramp and another about a quarter mile back in the road. Perfect for a small 4x4 like Jeep or Taco to get in.
