Guests commonly noted excellent family amenities including heated pool, playgrounds, and quiet wooded sites with good spacing. One significant complaint about customer service, though most visitors reported enjoying their stays and planning return visits.

Do not recommend

Terrible customer service. Argumentative and dismissive. There are plenty of other campgrounds in Door County that do not succumb to the pressure of the summer season and treat their potential patrons with respect and dignity… and have legal and ethical business practices.

Great Campground, Friendly Staff!

We really enjoyed our 10 day stay at Frontier Wilderness. The bathrooms and shower house were clean. The heated pool was nice on cool nights. Mini golf, playgrounds, bounce house, arcade and horseshoes. The campsites are slightly secluded so you aren’t on top of other campers. I was worried about not having a sewer hookup but their free pump service more than made up for it. We will definitely visit again!

Nice and quiet

Have only been here one time this summer but really enjoyed it. We bought a camper this year and wanted to try as many places as possible. This is a great place to go if you really want to get away and just camp. There is a little arcade, minigolf, indoor pool and lots of playgrounds which is nice but my favorite part was how quiet it was. There wasn't any loud groups and didn't even hear radios playing throughout the campground! We will be going back for sure! Great wooded sites. Not super wooded where you don't see anyone else but just really nice trees and atmosphere.

wholesome family fun.

this campground is geared for family fun. several playgrounds are dotted throughout the campground and kids can be seen pedaling bikes around throughout the day. This is the first site I've been to with my teardrop camper and I plan on going back in the future.
