We stayed at Holiday Trav-L-Park in Virginia Beach for the first time for 3 nights in July. As our travel trailer is small, we were able to stay in site #152. This site had water and electric, was close to a bathhouse, close to the pool, close to the camp store, and also close to the front…

We were there mid-summer, picked a premium waterfront spot, so, yes, expensive. We had beautiful views, a lot of space, didn't feel cramped or crowded. Plenty of open and wooded areas to explore. Store scoops ice cream! Plenty of kid activities. The sound was fun to float in. Would be an…
This is a “Diamond in the rough” location. We stayed is site A08 which was a little uneven, but we enjoyed the shade from the trees as a lot of the middle sites did not have any trees. The beach is within walking distance and the water was a dream! The waves ebbed and flowed instead of breaking in…

Pretty neat place on the bay. Stayed after a big storm, so lots of debree everywhere.
I really enjoyed this place. The sites are private and a short walk to the bay. There are nice hiking trails my dog and I walked daily.
Really clean neat camp ground. Well cared for landscaping, nice lake, level parking spot with concrete patio. WiFi is fast and cable tv is available. I would recommend this camp ground. It is a little off the beaten path and the road coming is narrow.
Not a whole lot of people. Pretty windy area being right on the water.
Our family stayed at site 99 which is close to the bathhouse and camp host. It is also on one of the small roads that leads to a boardwalk to the beach. Thete are 4 boardwalks to the beach over the dunes so keep that in mind when booking your site. This is a pretty big campground and thereare…

The campground Is large with 4 pools. It seems to need a bit more maintenance, some if the equipment is old and in need of repair. The rental bikes need to be replaced. Our site was small for our RV and we asked to move over to the one next to us. They said they couldn't move us. When the camper…
Over 2021 spring break I wanted to introduce my 2 granddaughters to camping. But at only 4 and 5 I thought it best to ease them in by renting a cabin but still have the camp atmosphere. This location was PERFECT! It warmed up enough to enjoy the beach which was a 5 minute walk from cabin. Both…
Lots of tree canopy in this campground/park along a pretty lake. Nice bike and walking trails, and an archery range. Plus a really nice laundry on site. Con: the showers are gross

The campground seems a bit out of the way, but it’s in a great location if you want to get away from the more crowded parks nearby. The staff was extremely helpful and everything was clean. My only issue was not every spot had a fire pit, but other then that I highly recommend!

This campground is less than 2 years old. They charge a daily $4.99 resort fee and I still have no idea why. There is no pool yet, waiting on an issue with the city. When we were there the midgets were so bad our RV was covered in them at night. Check your site carefully in you pay for a water…
Restaurant, bar, shallow water. Calm waves. Sites too close together with no privacy. Camp store was great. Rent the golf carts. Pool. Sites are not water front.

We really enjoyed the short hiking trails and the opportunity to kayak off the very nice beaches. The boat landing was extremely busy, but a separate section for canoes/kayaks made it slick to get in and out.
The bathrooms are not well maintained, although this time there was hot water! Our…
