Wonderful experience

Over 2021 spring break I wanted to introduce my 2 granddaughters to camping. But at only 4 and 5 I thought it best to ease them in by renting a cabin but still have the camp atmosphere. This location was PERFECT! It warmed up enough to enjoy the beach which was a 5 minute walk from cabin. Both nights we warmed by the outside campfire and I introduced them to my childhood favorite: S'MORES!!! They didn't want to leave and talked about it for weeks!

Well Maintained, Family Friendly

First site we’ve stayed at since getting our travel trailer. Good experience; we didn’t use the facilities aside from a stop in the market and playground for the kiddo, but it’s apparent it’s all well maintained and plenty to keep kids of all ages busy. The beach is larger than expected, and hours of the market and restaurant are great. We were pleased that even with a lot of kids and some larger groups, overall it stayed pretty quiet. We did notice for some of the sites the hook ups for one site are essentially in the outdoor living/camping area for the next site. Though we lucked out being on an end site, we intentionally did not hook up our sewer until ready to dump before leaving so it wasn’t run in our neighbor’s site.

Awesome place

Staff is friendly. Movie time in a drive in theatre atmosphere. Had a shrimp boil while we were there. Awesome RV sites right on the water. Kayaking is great. Lots of fishing. Ice cream and pizza place open in the evenings. All in all, love this place.

Great Spot For Large Groups

This is a great choice for large groups. The store has everything you need & the kids love the snack bar.

We enjoyed the pool, kayaking & the activities.

If you have a small boat or jet skiis, you are guaranteed to have a blast!

Love this campground!

Lots of things for kids to do! Pool, beach, putt-putt, ice cream shop and so much more. This is our group's favorite place to go each year. The beach is very big for a campground. They have great bathhouses as well.

Amazing view!

We stayed at North Landing Beach for a week during the 4th of July holiday and while it was very busy, it was quiet and very family oriented. The beach was quiet and relaxing with beautiful sunsets. We will go back!

Very Nice Woodsy Campground

This one is a bit out of the way for Virginia Beach, but that also means a quiet stay, unlike the more popular campgrounds underneath the Naval Air Stations runways! Nice wooded campsites, most have hook-up;s. They also host various bands and other activities through out the summer months.

Great Campground away from it all

North Landing has had quite the facelift since our first visit in 2015. Tons of cottages have replaced the coveted waterfront tent sites. Several configurations are offered including studio, one and two-bedroom. RV sites range include water, electric, pull-through and full amenities. There is a large outdoor entertaining pavilion as well as a smaller, indoor event space with full kitchen. There Is a very nice workout room and a bIllIards room adjacent. A decent-sized pool with outdoor shower, a newly-constructed hot tub, miniature golf, basketball, horseshoes, pickle ball, and playground round off the outdoor fun. Unfortunately, as of this writing, they have decided to eliminate tent camping, which will deter quite a few campers.
