Canton I-20 RV Park is fantastic! The spacious, well-maintained sites made setup easy, and the full hookups were a plus. We loved the pool and the friendly staff made us feel right at home. Perfect spot for a comfortable and convenient stay—highly recommend!
Nice easy place to stay the night. Bathrooms and showers are super clean. Not the most scenic of places but quiet and fairly easy to access - highway construction was underway in June 2024.
Tried calling several times(during business hours) and wrote several times, never got back to me. Finally just drove there(through the rain), calling again about 5 minutes away. They finally answered only to be told they were full. Asked about other days and they said they weren't sure but to call the morning of. I said you know, I've called and wrote and left several messages- would've been nice to get a call back, as now I'm basically here. She said sorry and laughed. Seriously?! No online booking at all and incompetent management- who would call the morning of to see if you drive X amount of miles to stay? And I'm the idiot that drove there after not hearing back, ugh.

Pros: Great views of the water and wildflowers in the meadows. Reasonable price. Everything works and the shaded picnic tables are a plus. 5G plus signal on ATT for anything you might need online. Downsides: It looks like there could be a lot of water pooled on and behind our site with a heavy rain. The pad has definitely broken up over time and isn't level. The fire pit is also sitting at an angle. We noticed two groups of campers with 4-6 extra cars having gatherings last night, so that might have been distracting if we were right next to them.
Stayed for a couple days, very well maintained property. The staff is incredible and very nice! Lots of long timers, makes for a quieter vibe.

This place was beautiful and so serene. Bathhouse is very clean. A lot to do here. Wish we could have stayed longer! My favorite place so far!
This place is close to anywhere you need to go. The price is the best in the area and they give free high speed internet. They have a nice laundry room and mailboxes on site. They offer short or long term living. Check them out!
We had had a blowout on our rv and needed to stay the night instead of finishing our travel they answered the phone on a Sunday which surprised me (I had call around) The lady at the desk was so helpful and informed us about discounts my husband was missing because of his service (National Guard Vet) which has been so greatly appreciated! The spot was unleveled but that’s no big deal if you have leveling blocks. Very beautiful and quiet when we visited in early August. The man in charge when we left was very helpful and mingled a moment with my husband before we headed home nice people and clean establishment definitely will be going back
We spent a weekend here with the in-laws, in site 51. It had been raining a lot, so things were pretty muddy, but all in all it was a pretty nice park.
Lots of trails to explore, and a few geocaches. If you like boating or fishing, this park would be great for you.
Site 51 was pretty secluded and level.
The park is well taken care of. The sites are level and have plenty of shade covering. This is especially important if you are in a pop-up like us. If you are, you know what I mean. It was a quiet campground. Bathrooms were clean. The entry gate is coded after closing for some added security. Will return.
Wow, Stinson RV Park sounds like a great place to relax and enjoy nature. I wonder if they have any amenities like a swimming pool or a playground for kids. Has anyone tried the nearby monkey mart for supplies?
Very hot and not heavily wooded or shaded. Sites are basic but fine. Bathrooms were nice and clean. Area is pretty snd some sites have view of the lake.

Local police did regular daylight drive thrus
Hundreds of squirrels
Could hear whippoorwills after sunset
Had a float plane land and then take off right in front of our campsite (see video)
Park had WIFI but didn’t use due to having 4 bars TMOBILE
CONS
Minimal pay/stay 3 nights
$5 fee to make on line reservations
Had to email copy of Texas Drivers License to Water District in advance of making reservation in order to get Senior discount
No security gate closed overnight
No camp host
Campers let their dogs run thru campsites and poop everywhere
Big problem with day users and boaters walking thru campsites, even after dark, picnicking and partying late into evening in campsites where there were no campers/tenters, then leaving at all hours of the night
LOTS of middle of the night boat noise
Street lights throughout campground which hinders dark sky viewing
No privacy from any other campsite
Site picnic table anchored so not moveable

Pedestal BBQ full of ashes and trash upon arrival
Picnic table bolted to concrete so not moveable and it was not close to parking pad
Saw lots of feral cats roaming the campground
Mostly 1 bar T MOBILE
No park WIFI
Tented 2 nights. Spot A5. Spot was good. Right on the water. Could boat up if you wanted. Nice and shady, even good shade in the direct western sun. Beautiful sunsets! Hike right from camp.
Reason for only 4 stars: toilet pits and bathhouse needs a little TLC. It’s time to clean up the shorelines. And the site ground could use some grass. Tax dollars don’t really help so don’t forget to DONATE!
Stayed here 5 nights waiting for our property to be ready. Called into the office like we have every morning and was told"sorry you have to leave we reserved your spot." ON MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND!!!! Who does this??? No notice, didn't say anything all week. But sure took our money! Poop all over the grass. The dog park is nasty! They give you all the rules, very strick. LOUD, the highway is right here. Unprofessional!!!!! Never again!!!!!
Jake from the Dyrt here! Mockingbird Meadows is now on the Dyrt and offers a great place to stay out of the city, without giving up the convenience. They also offer a stocked pond for those who enjoy relaxing by the water! Make sure to check them out and leave a review on the Dyrt!
So this is an ok place to spend a night or two. With Passport America, the price is right. The Tin Cup is a restaurant that's owned by the park and the food is great. The downside is that there's live music on Saturdays. It's loud enough to be annoying but not loud enough to enjoy. It was still playing after 10:30 pm. Not good when you need to get up early in the morning.
I stayed for four nights and really enjoyed it. The sites are large and fairly private. The restrooms could use some work but they do keep them clean. There are a lot of great hiking trails with wildlife including deer, coyotes, armadillos, and butterflies.
Very friendly staff. Helped us get settled in a spacious pull through site on level, hard packed, crushed stone. Really nice area to walk the dogs!
This is a nice campground with decently wooded sites. The site I sated had water, electric, a picnic table, a fire pit and a lantern post. There was a flat spot to set up my tent. The campground had decent star views and was a short walk to clean pit toilets. The showers were a short drive away and were also clean.
Tried calling 1-469-222-9555 (listed on Camping Road Trip.com) & 972-837-4600 (listed on Campendium). Both non-working numbers. :-(
