Overnight Winter Quickie

Open during the winter. Easy on, easy off. Lots of pull through sites. Next to grocery store. CLEAN bathrooms, showers, laundry. Super nice owners. Perfect for an overnight stop. Yes, right off the hwy and you can hear it. At the end of a road, so I felt safe. Gem of a spot if you're just looking for a place to hook in & zone out for the night

Ext 53. Straight at the light. Drive all the way down to the end of the road.

Nice overnight without amenities.

We stayed here for 2 nights while traveling through. The campground is small and a bit rundown. The sites are on the smaller size. The gem is the beautiful grounds, river, and parklike setting. Lots of wildlife around. We had a FHU 30/50 amp.

Great for a night!

Right off the interstate. If you have the generator going and ear plugs it shouldn't bother you.

The couple who runs the park is super helpful and patient. You can tell they love what they do.

Great people!

It’s close to the highway, so there’s a lot of noise. But, the people are very friendly and helpful. It’s a wonderful place to stay when you’re going on a long trip and need a place to rest. Or if you’re in a pinch and need something year round.

Loud Parking Lot

While the staff is very friendly and polite you are basically in a old parking lot right below the freeway. Very easy to get on & off the highway but loud highway noise almost all night.

Way too close to the Interstate

While I did not have high expectations of the campground, I was very disappointed with how close it was to the interstate (you could actually feel the heavier trucks go by) and how close together the sites were. Worse, we were out on two sites even though I had requested a pull through 5 months prior.

Incredible staff

Friendly, aim to please staff. This is a point to point camp on the freeway. Easy on and off on I 84. Great place to pull in for the night if you are traveling. Safe, clean, and right on the Delaware River. Groceries and Home Depot close buy if you need to restock.

Convenient but not glamorous

Pros: easy to find, right off the highway, full hookups, open year round, big, same day reservations, friendly customer service

Cons: highway noise, not pretty / not in nature, close spots, no privacy
