Within Elks Memorial Park, Port Jervis Elks Brox Hiker/Biker Campground provides a municipal camping option managed by the City of Port Jervis. The campground sits on open terrain near the river, accessible via a rough 0.8-mile drive that requires careful navigation but remains passable for smaller vehicles like compact SUVs.
Sites are positioned among clusters of trees, with some located directly across from the lake. The tree cover limits solar panel effectiveness for RV users. The rough access road makes this location better suited for smaller RVs and trailers rather than large motorhomes. For campers seeking easier access, Dingmans Campground offers a more accommodating alternative just southwest of the area.
