If you’d like to ditch some of the crowds around Mt. Hood while also getting a hike in, make your way through a canopy of old-growth forest on the Old Salmon River Trail. The backwoods sites along the trail offer a natural escape to some of the best camping in Oregon.


If you’re looking for a more active natural beauty, venture about three hours south from Mt. Hood to Silver Falls State Park outside of Salem. We found our forever home about 2 years ago and, after a crazy rollercoaster ride of purchasing, we finally got to move onto the property a year and a half ago.

Like most new farmsteaders we hit our fair share of bumps in the road and learned a few lessons along the way. But all in all we are getting the place to where we want it to be and making our dreams come true.

Although we are not quite there, we are starting to open up a few spots to have guests stay here and help us enjoy it with us along our journey!

Come camp with us in the Oregon Coast Mountain Range! We are located right on Highway 126, exactly halfway between the city of Eugene and the city of Florence at the Oregon Pacific coast.

The space

We have 2 tipi tents set up at the front of our property that can accommodate groups up to 8 people each. We also provide a composting toilet in its own small tent and access to fresh water. And if you get hungry we are just a short walk down the driveway to the Halfway Café!

Guest access

We love showing off our property and are more than happy to take you on a tour when you arrive! You are welcome to sit by the camp fire at night located up above our sun shaped garden or even hike the trails in our woods. Make sure you say hi to the turkey, chickens and baby ducks on your way past.

Stoney Acres Farmstead

One of a kind beautiful dry campsite. Secluded in the coastal forest next to the ocean. This site is completely private on acreage. There is only one other site within miles. Pull your trailer in right off hwy101 for easy access. The site is less than a 1/4 mile from hwy 101 and 1/4 mile from beach access but feels like you’re in your own private coastal forest wonderland. Surrounded by sitka spruce forest and creeks you are in a private forest setting with the sound of ocean waves and brook waters. Site comes with a picnic table. Easily fits a 30ft trailer. Must have your own toilet. No water or electricity. Nearest rv water and dump station is Washburn campground 1 mile down the road.



Whispering Tides 

Pristine Ranch (Pristineranch.com) is in the country with 46 acres. Cows, chickens, goats and horses are on the property. Short hiking and biking trails on the property. Fern Ridge lake is close (15 minute drive) by and many wineries are very close. The Oregon coast is a 50 minute drive. Downtown Eugene is a 25 minute drive. The country fair is a 15 minute drive. Come give us a visit and smell the country air😀



Pristine Ranch 

RV site is located on our quiet 1/2 acre property, accommodates up to 26ft trailer or 32 foot motor home, equipped with full hook ups and a small grass area. Well behaved pets and owners welcome.

Located with easy access 1 mile off OR 126 East, also known as McKenzie Highway. A 66-mile route along the beautiful Mckenzie River, connecting the Eugene/Springfield area to U.S.20 to iconic Sisters and Bend. It's a popular route for tourists and recreational adventurists, with many small communities, waterfalls, hot springs, hiking trails along the way. West OR 126 freeway is 8 miles to 1-5. . We are located 1 1/2 hours from Mount Hood, Willamette Pass ski lodge and the Oregon coast. Park your RV or camper and enjoy exploring Eugene/Springfield Area, the great outdoors or visiting friends/family. We'll leave the power, water and sewer hook up on for you.



Jacks RV Pad 

Clay Clay Creek Recreation Site is nestled in the Coast Range of Oregon between Eugene and the Oregon coast at an elevation of 436-492 feet. Located at the confluence of Clay Creek and the Siuslaw River, this recreation site offers a wealth of activities including forest hiking, fishing, wildlife viewing, picnicking and camping. The Springfield Office of the Northwest Oregon District of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) manages the Clay Creek Recreation Site. Recreation This quiet family oriented recreation site is a favorite if you enjoy riverside camping with an interpretive trail to old-growth timber. Spacious campsites with paved parking pads, mossy vine-maple tangles, and tall straight firs make up this camping area. The recreation site also boasts large group shelters available by reservation for group outings, weddings, or other events. The Clay Creek Trail, created in 1991 for hiking, provides access to a stand of Douglas fir high above the campground and the Siuslaw River. The site’s Clay Creek Trail ascends a ridge above the campground to a remnant old-growth stand. From camp, you cross the concrete bridge on Clay Creek Road and river to begin the hike. Facilities Clay Creek offers 21 individual campsites to accommodate 32 feet of RV, truck and trailer, or tents. Most sites contain fire ring, barbeque grill, picnic table, and tent pad. In addition, the site contains vault toilets, a summer swimming area with dressing rooms nearby, individual picnic sites, a children’s play area, horseshoe pits, potable water, volleyball area (bring your net and ball), and a ball field. The two group day use shelters have a maximum limit of 25 people due to COVID-19 social distancing regulations. Natural Features Clay Creek campground and the surrounding area are home to large canopy trees such as Douglas fir, western hemlock, red cedar, red alder and big leaf maple. The forest understory features a host of native plants like rhododendron, salal, various fern species, salmonberry and vine maple. On the forest floor, oxalis, Calypso orchids and mosses compliment the scenery. A diverse variety of bird life, from the seldom seen pileated woodpecker, northern spotted owl and marbled murrelet to the ever-present Oregon junco, frequent this area. Signs of larger animals, such as raccoon, mink, bear, elk, deer and beaver are evident. Clay Creek is part of the Siuslaw River watershed that drains water from the Coast Range to the Pacific Ocean. The river flows broad, cloudy, and green and calls to anglers; check current fishing regulations before casting your line. The Siuslaw River is a salmon watch site that runs fast and cold during the winter months, where you can observe spawning Coho and Chinook salmon in the river’s exceptional habitat during the fall and winter. Nearby Attractions Put-ins for the river downstream, along the Siuslaw River Road. No permit required to paddle the 6.5 mile river, with Class II - III rapids. Camp Lane is a 15 acre park nestled among old growth timber and boarders the Siuslaw River near Walton, Oregon. Only 42 miles west of Eugene and 23 miles east of Florence on US Highway 126, Camp Lane is perfect for group or family functions.

Whittaker Creek Recreation Site is a Bureau of Land Management (BLM) campground and day use area. The campground has 31 sites. Campground amenities include vault toilets, potable water, picnic areas, a children's play area, an Old Growth Ridge National Recreation Trail (2.5 miles), and a swimming area. Whittaker Creek Watchable Wildlife Site is located here. In the fall, winter, and spring, busloads of middle school students visit the Watchable Wildlife Site to learn about spawning salmon and trout and to assist with the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife's breeding program. Know Before You Go: The Day Use Area and Campground are open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. This is a first-come, first served campground opportunity. There is no fee for day-use. Camping is $10 per site with a $5 fee for extra vehicles. Pets are ALLOWED but must be LEASHED (max. 6 feet) in the parking lot. Please dispose all pet waste in trash receptacles. Point of Interest: Clay Creek Campground, a BLM-managed recreation area with 21 campsites, is approximately 16 miles past Whittaker Creek. Hues Flower Farm and Nursery is a budding flower farm located on 8 acres directly on the banks of the Willamette River (currently under an acre in flower production). It is also home to Dusty's Dahlias, where from August through the first frost, you can enjoy hundreds of beautiful dahlia blooms!

The property is located among surrounding small farms and hazelnut orchards. Three farm stands are within a short 5 min drive (Thistledown, Groundworks Organics, and Hentze).
