Sea Perch RV Resort

Tidepooling, wave-watching, and direct beach access draw campers to Sea Perch RV Resort, a privately run property set along the Oregon Coast just south of Cape Perpetua. Sites are large, level, and paved with concrete, accommodating rigs up to 60 feet with full hookups including electric, water, and sewer. The resort operates year-round, and given that some guests book more than a year in advance, reservations are worth making early.

The location puts several well-known coastal landmarks within a short drive. Bob Creek, roughly five minutes north on Highway 101, provides accessible tidepooling, while Cape Perpetua and Thor's Well are close enough for a day trip. The clubhouse includes a workout room, game room, adults-only lounge, and a viewing area facing the water. Saturday happy hours are a regular feature. Showers are consistently noted as clean and well-maintained.

Steve C. sums up the on-site basics as "clean, animal friendly, hot showers, fire pit, grass, horseshoes and easy beach access." Pets are welcome, and the beach is reachable on foot directly from the campground. One reviewer noted a cancellation dispute, so reading the resort's cancellation policy before booking is a practical step. Campers who want to compare nearby options can browse campgrounds near Yachats or consider Whispering Tides to the south. Peak summer dates fill quickly, so booking several months out is advisable.

Visitors consistently highlight the premium beachfront location with direct ocean access, huge level concrete sites, and exceptional clubhouse facilities. Many mentioned the proximity to Cape Perpetua and other coastal attractions as major draws.

Beautiful location - unfair/dishonest business

This is such a beautiful spot! However the customer service is awful and their cancellation policy is unreasonable. We tried to cancel 8 months in advance and they wanted to charge us a full night, even though someone else will reserve it! This place is very greedy and dishonest. Luckily we paid with credit card and were able to dispute the charge. We won’t be back ever!

A getaway

Our stay at the RV spot on the beach was absolutely magical. Waking up to the sound of waves crashing and stepping out to golden sands right from our doorstep was an unparalleled experience. The facilities were well-maintained, and we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The sunset views were breathtaking, making every evening feel like a painting come to life. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to combine the adventure of RV living with the serenity of beachfront relaxation.

Book a year out, it’s worth it

Been reading about this campground for a couple years. Booked my birthday week - about 14 months ahead. Nice big sites - huge, level, concrete sites. It’s all about location. Close to Yachats, Cape Perpetua, Thor’s Well, Haceta Head Lighthouse. Amazing tidepooling 5 minutes up Hwy 101 at Bob Creek. Campground has very nice clubhouse with adults-only lounge, very clean showers, workout room, game room and lounge. Very attentive hosts. Even a Happy Hour on Saturdays. Best part - just steps from the ocean. Booking again for next year. Loved it!

Safe space to view rugged coast

Sea Perch lies just south of the famous Cape Perpetua. If you just want to stay at the park, you can watch the waves from your van and take a safe stroll on the nearby beach during low tide. But if you want adventure Cape Perpetua is about five minutes away.

There is a nice club house with immaculate showers, pool tables, foos ball, viewing room to watch the sea. The hosts were very friendly.
