    Great place to stop

I'm new at this but it was very easy to navigate to find it and around the area, great place to stop overnight. They have very clean showers and washers from a door with a code. It's nicely lit but not blinding. It felt very safe and it was nice and quiet besides route 66 of course. Hookups work well. Grounds were nice and clean.

    Beautiful autumn view

Because of the time of year, it was very quiet. Nice lake view. Our site had a beautiful tree—Heritage Pear. Bathrooms are not convenient. It was quite the hike from the camping area.

    Quiet, Well Groomed, Clean Bathrooms

Nice 4 day stop! Great place to walk the pups, enjoy the peace and quiet, and listen to the water and the wind. We stayed at Sandy Beach in site 001. It was a fantastic spot! Bathrooms were clean. Electric and water hookups were great, and the dump station was in good working order. Not many other guests were there. The staff was really nice on the phone. My only note for improvement is related to a good amount of litter in the bushes and some bottle tops and zip ties at our camp site. I'm sure it's hard for the staff to keep up with. If guests were more conscious of their trash, it would make the world a better place, but that can be said of many places.

Clean KOA but very noisy! Dogs and Traffic

This was a one night stop while on the road. The KOA is very clean but it is very noisy. There is a wooded area at the back of the park that contains a private residence. Large dogs barked all night. A permanent tenant at the rear of the park also runs his dog before 8am. Not as bad but this dog barks also. Traffic is also louder than usual. Will not be back here!

    Good views

Very nice campground. Open views of the lake. Very laid back and relaxing. Roomy. Well up kept. Good showers and restrooms. Stayed in tent on site with water and electricity. Paid $25. Would stay again.

    Foss Lake Cedar point nice!

Nice with many pull thru level sites. A few back ins. Wonder Lake view. Full hook ups. Shower house was a pay shower. Concrete patio areas with newer picnic tables and nice fire pits. Has a marina open seasonally. The soil is a red clayish dirt but the lake was clear. Has Frisbee Golf and a play ground. The play ground needs a bit of TLC. We are here in Sept and only two other campers here.

    Lake El Reno RV Park

    Clean county park

East entrance has sites with no hookups for $20. Weather entrance has hookups for $25. Within park, but outside of campground are a handful of free, primitive sites. Small, but pleasant lake. Walking path, pier, and some grills and firepits along lakeshore, just past the Campground. Bathrooms and showers within campground, but are closed at night.

    Air conditioned restrooms!

I booked a site at the Buffalo Bend Campground in Foss SP while traveling on Highway 40. The park is a little bit far from the highway but a pretty drive. We were in site BB002 which had decent privacy. Unfortunately, it was a very hot and humid day but we were pleasantly surprised by the air-conditioned bathrooms. I’ve been camping a lot, but that was a first! The area in Buffalo Bend did not have views of the lake and there was no breeze but the bathrooms had clean showers.

Easy access- ridiculously close to neighbors

We were in Site# 66. We had Full hook- up with a paved pull-through.
We travel towing a 14 foot trailer and were able to fit both in our pull through site along with my jeep.

The site was easy to level. Our site was not shaded with limited trees. In eight years of RV-ing, we’ve never had such little space between us and our neighbors. We literally walk out our door into their sewer. (See pictures) My husband can touch both RVs with his arms outstretched.

The lot did not come with a concrete patio, picnic table, or a fire ring. Some lots had a picnic table. We did not request one since we’d be eating at our neighbor’s sewer.

It is an easy access to the campground from highway -(right off the highway).

There is free WiFi. They offer Cable TV and there are many local channels).

They do not sell wood here.

They do not provide garbage service at your site but there are many barrel drum trash cans that can be accessed.

You are allowed to ride personal golf carts. They do not provide golf cart rentals. There is really not a need to have a Golf cart because it is a smaller campground.

They do have a Swimming pool (not heated & freezing). They have a fishing Lake on property (it is hidden behind some cabins so you could stay here & never know the lake is here). There are two Buffalo that are owned by the owners of the restaurant and trading post above the KOA (who also own the KOA).

There is a Playground and jumping pad for kids. They have a basic general store.

There is not a snack bar/restaurant on site but there is a restaurant at the top of the hill.

The streets are paved and good for riding bikes. There is not really anywhere to ride bikes outside of campground.

This is a RV park but also have many cabins for rent and tent areas.

They have 2 shower houses. The shower house has the typical stalls. These are kept very clean.

There is a laundry facility. It is a cash only facility. You’ll need to get change in the main office while they are open (no change machine). There are approximately 6 washers and 6 dryers. It is approximately $2 to wash and $2 to dry a load.

They have a fenced in dog park.

Bugs were an issue and bug spray was definitely needed.

There were no trails to hike in the campground.

We’ve noticed that the casinos nearby mainly offer slot machines only (very few have live tables (craps, roulette, blackjack,etc.).

    Nice surprise!

What a cool place in the middle of a flat area of OK. The guys at the check in office were super nice. Our campsite was clean and within a reasonable walking distance to the bathroom. Showers are individual stalls, but separate from the toilet section of the bathhouse. The park is fun to explore and the camping areas are broken up so that you don’t feel crowded. Would definitely return here again if in the area.

    Beautiful Sunsets

We stayed 2 nights in the Cedar Point section of this huge campground. Our site, CP003, had a great view of the lake and the gorgeous sunset over the lake.  The sites were level, but offered no privacy due to the closeness of the sites and no vegetation coverage between them.

The bathhouse was quite a distance from the campsites.  The showers were individual rooms with an adequate number of wall hooks to keep personals off the floor. The water flow in my shower was weak and lukewarm.  My husband said that his shower was the best ever with very hot water and strong water flow!  The bathhouse interior could use a new coat of paint.

The campground was well-maintained with plenty of open areas for activities, including disc golf.

    Great

Arrived at about 1AM after we had some car trouble. Campground was great because you can pay 24/7 by filling out the envelope at the office and putting it in the drop box. Interstate noise is definitely loud but also heard an owl as we were laying it down. Bathrooms are really far away from the $20 spots and locked after 7 so relieve yourself at a gas station before you get there if you are tent/car camping. We stopped late February and had no issues finding a spot.

    False location

I'v not been there so I won't review or rate the campground but I searched the location on internet and Google Maps and be aware that the location given here is wrong. It's not located near El Reno but way way before Tulsa. I'm desappointed because the campground was exactly what I was looking for at El Reno.

I stayed here two years ago

And was the only person in the park that evening. Just a stop on a trip. Really nice campground with extensive trail system. You can hear lots of owls and coyotes at night. Not much to stop the wind but I'm not sure it gets very cold here either.

    Stayed at Mouse Creek

This is the equestrian campground and it has 17 miles of trails connected to it. There's both a number of spots for RVs and some beautiful spots down by the lake for tents. And the only one here almost nobody has driven through I can hear the road but pretty much have had the place to myself which has been very nice. The trail is really just a mode grass pack but you can bike on it and you can walk on it and there's some evidence of horses I'm not sure how much use this part of it gets. Bathrooms and showers are great and available I would definitely stop back again if I'm coming through this way.

    Convenient to Interstate

We stayed overnight in a pull through site.  The sites were very close together.  Couldn't really sit out because we were too close to our neighbor's sewer line!  If you stay here try to stay in the tree section.

    Wow wow wow!

It was the only not free campsite we camped at on our two week trip with new sites every night. I have no complaints in any way shape or form about the camp so it 100% gets five stars from me. Only complaint is about the website and the map offered on the website. Completely unhelpful and poorly designed. In this time of technology that is accessible to everyone, you NEED to update your forums. But that’s enough from me. This was my second favorite campsite during my trip across nine states and fourteen campsites. And it’s definitely top three of all time.

    Excellent RV Park

This RV Park is very very nice. It sits right beside the highway, so there is quite a bit of traffic noise, but other than that, This RV park is top of the line. I generally prefer a more rural setting, but we came to OKC to visit friends and found this gem. The parking spaces are wide and easy to get in and out of. Of course full hook ups with 50 amp service. There was cable TV, with lots of channels (a luxury we have not experienced on our three month journey). The cell service was good here (AT&T), and the park wifi worked better here than any other place we’ve stayed. It is Springtime here in Oklahoma City, so that means tornado season. Not my favorite thing - torrential rains, hail, wind, thunder, lightening, and every bodies favorite - tornadoes! We stayed here for a week, and nearly every night we had buckets of rain. We were glued to the news channels a couple of nights in fear of golfball sized hail, or worse - the dreaded tornado! This Was V park has 4 or 5 underground shelters, which is somewhat of a comfort. The dog park here is good. They have trash pick up service everyday- you just put your bag out by your camper and they come pick it up. While here, we went to the Bombing Memorial. I would definitely come back - just not in the Spring!
