  Easy access- ridiculously close to neighbors

  We were in Site# 66. We had Full hook- up with a paved pull-through.
  We travel towing a 14 foot trailer and were able to fit both in our pull through site along with my jeep.

  The site was easy to level. Our site was not shaded with limited trees. In eight years of RV-ing, we’ve never had such little space between us and our neighbors. We literally walk out our door into their sewer. (See pictures) My husband can touch both RVs with his arms outstretched.

  The lot did not come with a concrete patio, picnic table, or a fire ring. Some lots had a picnic table. We did not request one since we’d be eating at our neighbor’s sewer.

  It is an easy access to the campground from highway -(right off the highway).

  There is free WiFi. They offer Cable TV and there are many local channels).

  They do not sell wood here.

  They do not provide garbage service at your site but there are many barrel drum trash cans that can be accessed.

  You are allowed to ride personal golf carts. They do not provide golf cart rentals. There is really not a need to have a Golf cart because it is a smaller campground.

  They do have a Swimming pool (not heated & freezing). They have a fishing Lake on property (it is hidden behind some cabins so you could stay here & never know the lake is here). There are two Buffalo that are owned by the owners of the restaurant and trading post above the KOA (who also own the KOA).

  There is a Playground and jumping pad for kids. They have a basic general store.

  There is not a snack bar/restaurant on site but there is a restaurant at the top of the hill.

  The streets are paved and good for riding bikes. There is not really anywhere to ride bikes outside of campground.

  This is a RV park but also have many cabins for rent and tent areas.

  They have 2 shower houses. The shower house has the typical stalls. These are kept very clean.

  There is a laundry facility. It is a cash only facility. You’ll need to get change in the main office while they are open (no change machine). There are approximately 6 washers and 6 dryers. It is approximately $2 to wash and $2 to dry a load.

  They have a fenced in dog park.

  Bugs were an issue and bug spray was definitely needed.

  There were no trails to hike in the campground.

  We’ve noticed that the casinos nearby mainly offer slot machines only (very few have live tables (craps, roulette, blackjack,etc.).

  Wanderlust Crossings RV Park

  Nice quiet spot

  Only stayed one night but would have stayed longer. Quiet place with nice landscaping. Concrete level pull thru with full hookups. Picnic table and fire pit at each lot. Has dog park, basketball court, playground and laundry facilities. Cellular good plus free wifi up to 800mb but can upgrade for $5. Cost was $45 a night but offered military discount. Gift shop does not have much but there is a gas station down the road that is easy in/out. Would have given it 5 stars if the nice lady who checked us in didn’t lie to me when I asked if there were vending machines in laundry room as we did not have detergent and she said no. Thank goodness we walked down there anyways.

  Fort Cobb State Park Campground

  Whites Catfish Cove

  We stayed in the Whites Catfish Cove campground at site #16 during Father’s Day Weekend. This site was located on both sides of the roadway and was at the end of the road. It was hard to back into given the many vehicles parked on the street. I would not recommended this site for longer rv’s or travel trailers. It had 30 amp hook up and water available. No sewer hookup, but dump site was not far off. Bath houses were close by, but could have been cleaned a little more.

  Walking distance to lake beach swim area and playground directly across from this site (great if you have kids).

  Prime spots for this campground area would be site #60, 62, 64, 66

  Pros: Close to lake Close to playground Only one camper next to you

  Cons: Small site No sewer Fire pit was overgrown with grass Right next to busy roadway

  Territory Route 66 RV Park & Campgrounds

  Great Travel Stop

  We stayed here one night while traveling. There are several long term sites, with very nice, well kept RV’s. The short term sites are out in the open and all but one are large pull throughs. Full hookups. Sites are very level. The restrooms and showers are really nice and clean. You have to pay $3 for a shower. There is a washer and dryer for use by guests, and it costs $3 to wash and dry a load. We showered and washed clothes. Very nice. Lots of grassy areas to walk the dogs. This campground is on farm land and in beautiful countryside. It’s very peaceful and relatively quiet considering it’s right on the old Route 66. Just a little traffic noise every now and then. Would definitely stay here again if in the area. There is a casino nearby.

  Water-Zoo Campground

  Excellent

  There is not much about this campground online so we sort of were coming in blind. When we got there we were pleasantly surprised. The campground entry point is located in the far back of the parking lot of an indoor water park, The Water Zoo. Only one way in and one way out, which was a plus keeping crime down or keeping people from driving fast through the park. Drive down a paved road through the tree (not too worry) and wow, a little hidden gem. We stayed there two nights during the week. It was quiet, hardly anyone there. The grounds were kept clean and grass was cut short. They even came out and mowed the lawn again before departure. The bathrooms were clean and seperate from one another. Each restroom had a toilet, shower and sink. Ladies, no mirrors. There is a code to get in which I liked because it keeps riff raff out (not that there was any.) There are full hook ups, sewer included on some. We pretty much had the pickins and in our opinion lot 37 was the best pick. Not all sites had fire rings or sewer hook ups, this one did. It was also a pull through site with lots of shade. The grounds are surrounded by trees which gave it a feeling of being in the woods. It had everything we needed, nice slab, nice tables, store within walking distance and an indoor water park that is open year round. For those with horses, this campground is horse friendly. There is a place to house them overnight. Highly recommend this place. We will definitely be going back.

  Cedar Point Campground, Foss State Park, OK

  Foss Lake Cedar point nice!

  Nice with many pull thru level sites. A few back ins. Wonder Lake view. Full hook ups. Shower house was a pay shower. Concrete patio areas with newer picnic tables and nice fire pits. Has a marina open seasonally. The soil is a red clayish dirt but the lake was clear. Has Frisbee Golf and a play ground. The play ground needs a bit of TLC. We are here in Sept and only two other campers here.

  We stayed here during our Spring break. Sites are pull through and big enough to fit a 40’ fifth wheel. Electric/ water and sewer hook ups are available ad well as restrooms and showers.

  Fort Cobb State Park Campground

  Great For Fishing

  In our opinion after coming from a really great campground with everything you need, this park didnt really rate too high on our scale. However, others might think differently. It was a great.campground for fishing (we dont fish). There is a store near where we were staying that catered to those fisherman. Also had a kitchen with several items on their menu. Boat rental is available. The pull through site we reserved was not paved. There was a kiddie park right across from our site that had spider webs all over it. A downer for those in tents, you have to pay for showers. There were handicap rv site near restrooms. Some wildlife, bugs (something Ive never seen before flew on me and gave me a nasty bite) the sites are really close together and traffic is heavy. Roads are thin. Picnic tables and fire ring was available at our site. The pier was pretty nice and we enjoyed watching the geese. There is a dump station just outside the exit across the street from park office. No full hook ups on our site. There looked to be some really nice sites right off the water, overlooking the lake. Not much shade where we were at even though I reserved a spot with shade, it only covered about half of our rig.

  Elk City Lake Park

  Great for overnight camping

  Camp site (Teardrop camping)

  We stayed the camp site on our way back home for a night. There are only 5 RV spots, no reservation needed. $15 a night / honor system. There are also tent sites available. Electric and water hookups available but no fire rings and no table on the camp site.

  Facilities/ Amenities

  Bathroom was a few minutes walk from the site. Clean and well maintained and showers available also.

  RV dump station is close by. Picnic area, playground + trash bins are right next to the RV sites.

  Surrounding area

  The site is right by the lake. Very quiet and peaceful. Yet all the sites are very open so personally it didn't feel like a campground.
