Mustang Run RV Park

Just off Interstate 40 west of Oklahoma City, Mustang Run RV Park accommodates RVs up to 75 feet on concrete sites with full hookups. The proximity to I-40 means easy highway access but also consistent traffic noise throughout the day and night. Both pull-through and back-in sites feature level concrete pads with 50-amp electrical service, water, sewer, and cable TV connections.

The park includes several underground tornado shelters, a practical feature during Oklahoma's active storm season. Daily trash pickup service collects bags placed beside each site. A small pool, playground, and clubhouse provide common areas, while two separate dog runs give pets space to exercise. The laundry facility operates with $2 wash and $1.50 dry cycles.

WiFi coverage receives positive mentions from multiple visitors, and AT&T cell service works reliably throughout the park. Great campground

We were traveling through and stopped for a couple of nights to visit family. It’s a wonderful park that fit our needs because it was close to our family. Concrete pull through and back ins were level and spacious. Small pool and had several areas to walk our dog. Also a small off lead dog park. Laundry room was nice and very clean $2 to wash and $1.50 to dry. We absolutely loved the park. The only exception is the road noise. The interstate is within sight which does make it easy on and off, but also for some road noise. But we would definitely stay again because that’s the only con for us.

Excellent RV Park

This RV Park is very very nice. It sits right beside the highway, so there is quite a bit of traffic noise, but other than that, This RV park is top of the line. I generally prefer a more rural setting, but we came to OKC to visit friends and found this gem. The parking spaces are wide and easy to get in and out of. Of course full hook ups with 50 amp service. There was cable TV, with lots of channels (a luxury we have not experienced on our three month journey). The cell service was good here (AT&T), and the park wifi worked better here than any other place we’ve stayed. It is Springtime here in Oklahoma City, so that means tornado season. Not my favorite thing - torrential rains, hail, wind, thunder, lightening, and every bodies favorite - tornadoes! We stayed here for a week, and nearly every night we had buckets of rain. We were glued to the news channels a couple of nights in fear of golfball sized hail, or worse - the dreaded tornado! This Was V park has 4 or 5 underground shelters, which is somewhat of a comfort. The dog park here is good. They have trash pick up service everyday- you just put your bag out by your camper and they come pick it up. While here, we went to the Bombing Memorial. I would definitely come back - just not in the Spring!

Great for an overnight stay

Mustang run isn’t to far from Oklahoma City off I-40 and is locally owned. Also close to State fair. It is at the end of a lane next to a hotel. You can hear lots of traffic from the interstate. It has 2 dog runs,storm shelters,pool,playground, laundry, and nice clubhouse. So everything you might need. There are pull through sites and back in. The sites are concrete so level. They are full hook ups with cable and wi-fi. There are no tent sites here. The nightly rate is $49 but they do except Good Sam discount. They also have weekly and monthly rates.

Clean and Nice!

I had to make a trip to OKC for medical testing. Took the RPod 202 and chose Mustang Run RV Park for its convenient location for my needs. VERY near all types of entertainment. People complain about the noise from I-40 but that didn't affect me at all. Full hookups. Clean restrooms and on site laundry. Also includes the necessary tornado shelters! Pull-thru, level concrete sites.

We are very happy with our stay and will use Mustang Run from now on when visiting. Very convenient location for passing through Oklahoma City on I-40/44 corridors.
