GuideFull hookups, concrete pad for $35 dollars a night. My husband had a meeting in Norman and we needed a place to stay for the night on our way to NM. In the city, but right next to a green space with disc golf, hiking and running trails. I got in a 6 mile run while he was at his meeting.

ScoutCamping starts at $15 now for all sights. There are no curtains on the stalls but they are a clean and the bathrooms by the RVs have hot water.
RangerCampground easy to find and access. The map at office provided was poor quality, map on web site better. Staff was helpful and courtious. Nice campgrounds, some are available for 12 months but those are in their own section. Big disappoint was no bath house, one rest room with a handicap shower. But that restroom near horse corals and smell was present. The lake was nice respite to a hot and long day. The grounds are well manicured, clean and mowed. It's a very large facility but spread out so it does not feel crowded.

GuideA little hard to find because the only sign is set in, about 100 feet from the road. Enter where the sign says ‘off road trails’ and then turn right on the road the encircles the large parking area. Lots of nice sites and almost all were empty on a June weeknight.

GuideI came here with my dog and cat in April and I would say it is one of the most beautiful well kept campgrounds I’ve ever been in as I make my way cross country from Florida to California that wasn’t all booked up and in fact, I was the only tenter there.
I picked a spot that had a red rock wall cove because I knew it would protect us from the coyotes. And I was right — by dusk you can hear them howl and yelp in the bushes so definitely watch your pets especially at night.
The camping spots are big enough, so you have ample room. I could’ve probably fit 3 to 4 tents easily in my spot with room to spare.
The only thing is, there’s no water at the tent site so I borrowed some from the recreational spigot across the way.
The bathrooms are semi-rustic but I’m sure you’ll survive.
There were a lot of old trees and moss on the ground so the ecology is really healthy and I don’t know if it’s because I was there in the spring.
I also like that they have ice and firewood delivery. Their café and snack bar was also a nice touch.
I saw mostly RVs. But they’re mostly in the back of the park.
They also have other amenities like a swimming pool, volleyball courts, playgrounds etc. It would be a perfect place for a family event.
