Right on the lake!
Camped for 2 nights at Hickory Hill site 21 (HH021). Highly recommend this premium site. Right in the lake, we could watch the sun rise over the lake. Site had full hookups and was pretty level. The first night we had a lot of tornado warnings and the sirens were going off continuously. Fortunately we got nothing but rain and a little hail, as this started right after we arrived and we had no idea where a tornado shelter was - I highly recommend you scope out the shelters first when camping in OK in Mar/April!

Great campground- Handicap spot difficult to access
Hickory Hill was our section. The campsite was a disabled spot and was quite a difficult place to put a 42ft rig due to ruts, sharp turns and asphalt fall-out. We managed to park in the spot and had great views with plenty of space. There was a lot of red dirt washed down from the hill of the bathhouse (tracked in from shoes). The bathhouse was at the top corner of our site, so lots of extra people come and go past us. Camp hosts were great to deal with.

Great view from our site, park infrastructure failing
This is for the Hickory Hill area, site #21. There’s many different camping “areas” at this park, so it’s a bit difficult to reserve a good site. We lucked out with probably the best in the campground which is right on the lake. The problem is the road to get to the campsite is TERRIBLY maintained, which much of the rest of the park also seems to be. Beware the Hog Hill area - it’s just a parking lot with sites numbered along the edge, and random picnic tables and fire pits in a field behind the lot. Bathrooms and showers need much TLC too. If not for the lake view from our site it would rate only 1 star.
