Love this place

I’ve camped here almost my entire life. It’s always quiet and peaceful, very relaxing. The upkeep has fell off in the last few years and I hope they can fix that! Flush toilets and good showers make it worth coming back every year.

Empty and great

Arrived on a Tuesday evening for an over night, empty except for the camp host. The site was excellent, a few bits of trash left by previous visitors. Found a good site next to the lake. Really quite. Of note there are signs stating the road is closed, this only happens after the campground…

Billy Creek

Very rustic, no electricity or water. Some 4 wheelers on the area roads. Does have a vault toilet 👍. First come basis and no fees

Not what I expected

Water spigots are shared. 75’ hose should get you by. The Lake has a sand beach all the way around. Eastern loop is very quiet and well spaced.

Cool caves

This is a cool spot to visit. The park has many hiking trails and a lake to explore. The Camper sites were not crowded. There was plenty of space between spots. The showers close to our camp spot we’re a bit crusty. Their are other showers closer to the lake that are much newer and cleaner. Overall…

McGee Creek Natural Scenic Trails

This is my absolute favorite place to escape into nature! This is very secluded wilderness area with lots of trails. Upon arrival, you have to stop at the Ranger's Station to fill out a permit mapping your stay. There are a lot of trails, so you want to plan your trip as best you can beforehand.…

Something For Everyone

This was our first trip in our new 21’ camper. Robbers Cave was quiet, and the sites were huge. Be sure to check if your site is flat, ours had a huge step down to the picnic table and fire ring. Plenty of tree cover, restrooms and showers if needed. They have upgraded most bathrooms/showers…
