Dogwood Campground — Lake Eufula State Park

Nice clean campground. Big rig friendly. But tight spots. Spot next to you is a few feet away.

Coming in to the park, there are scattered and very private campsites. At the end of the loop campsites are very close together, but have easy access to the restroom and showers.

Site 95 in Dogwood loop of Lake Eufala is awesome. Only 1 other RV site close by. Rest of campers are half mile away. Unless you need the bathouse regularly it's the perfect spot. Plenty of trees, squirrels, birds, and a few deer. Site is paved but not quite level. It's listed as premium site because of patio and wider driveway. Nearly all others are super narrow with 4-5 inch drop off on either side. I would have been rolling my ankle constantly. You're pretty close to entrance of this campground so road noise could be a problem during peak season. Short drive to lake or you can take one of the trails. Full Hookups were dirty but in good working order.

This state park was great. We were on dogwood site 66. The shade was great. The bathrooms were clean and had AC! There was a trail to the water. So fun there. The only thing is the pole light was right next to us so we had a spot light. Only down fall. Also there is laundry and a little park. The other part of the park was a couple min drive was another beach and park it was so nice and fun. The park office has ice!

Gorgeous sites with so many trees! Full hookup, enough space from neighbors while not being too spread out. Picnic tables, fire rings, shade, and easy walk to the restroom and lovely paths to the lake.

Literally best bathrooms I’ve ever encountered in a park. Very ADA accessible, AIR CONDITIONED TOILETS?!, showers and toilets were single stalls, clean, roomy and had everything you need. Showers had warm water. 10/10

Nice lake views, but not directly from site—have to walk to get there.

ATT & Verizon had decent service at both sites.

Great spot for a couple of day stay. It is a ways out from any other activities beyond the lack but subsequently quiet and pretty. A nice stay.

Bring your leveling blocks as asphalt sites are less than level!

Dogwood part has full hookups and close walk to lake. Lake view is awesome water and electric no sewer. Tent sites are sweet wooded lots. All October is $5 tent

Stayed for a couple nights beginning of June on our travels east. Good amount of space between camp sites. We were here Tuesday through Thursday and we had the place almost to our self. Water, electric and sewer were in fine shape. Bathroom was a bit dated but clean. Ate at Witt’s BBQ down the rode....pretty good! Overall a good State Park.

Just to let you know, the map on this page shows this campground to be about 30 to 50 miles west of Oklahoma City, and just off of I-40. In reality, this lake is about 150 miles east of OKC, and just south of I-40.

The weather was prime for a December campout. It was a tad windy, but the campsite offered a nice spot with a round table, grill, and rock ringed fire pit. Large tree surrounded campsites were all perfect for roof top tenting. We booked site 40, but couldnt find 39 or 40 so we stayed at 35. Kindling was plentiful (firewood available at the park office $5 a bundle). Short hike down to the water. There was a "beach" on the south end near the amphitheater and nature center. Once the sun went down we noticed a massive Christmas lighting display up near the RV portion. This made the trip! The restroo. Was open near our site. HEATED!. Loved the entire experience. I will return!

October 7-9 we stayed in Dogwood campground spot number 81. We had a wonderful time and the weather was simply great. Colors were starting to change. Very clean campground and restrooms were very well maintained.

This is El Reno, not Eufala

Happened upon this state park on a whim when our other campground (Belle Starr) was so bad we just couldn't stay there. Eufala State Park was the perfect place for our two small kids and us: easy access to the water, clean facilities, and caring staff. Jerry, the campground manager, was so helpful: cleaning or sites even though we were last minute renters, offering firewood, and making ice deliveries to anyone each evening. The nature center was a fun surprise, and the staffer was enthusiastic and friendly. There are many other things to do that we will add to our list for next time.

Myself, the sons and grandsons in our family decided to go on a weekend camp out for just the guys. We all agreed to go to Lake Eufaula but had never stayed in Dogwood RV park so that’s what we did this time. We stayed in premium spot # 81 and couldn’t have been more pleased. Spot was great, weather was cool which made sitting in front of a campfire and just a short walk over to the bathroom facilities. They were well maintained, clean and best of all warm with good hot water. Saw plenty of deer and an armadillo or two. Squirrels were plentiful as well. We weren’t lucky enough between all of us to catch even one fish but hot dogs and burgers were plentiful. Overall we had a great time and I can’t wait to go on another camp out with them. Maybe next time we’ll add all the girls and reserve multiple camping spots.

We ended up extending our stay 1 more night
