Nimisila Reservoir Metro Park Campground in Green offers electric-only RV sites with 50 amp service on a first-come, first-served basis. The campground lacks water hookups at sites, requiring visitors to plan for dry camping. Roundup Lake RV Resort in Mantua accommodates big rigs with 50 amp electric, water, and sewer connections, operating seasonally from May through October. At Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park in Uniontown, RV sites feature full hookups and adequate spacing for larger motorhomes. "Our site was gravel and fairly unlevel. Did our best to level it out but still have water collecting to the left," one camper shared about their KOA experience.
From late fall through early spring, RV park options near Green become limited, with several facilities closing for the season. Dump stations vary significantly in quality and accessibility between parks - West Branch State Park features three dump station lanes but some visitors report issues with rinse water connections. Most RV parks in the region welcome pets, though specific restrictions may apply at certain facilities. Caskey's campground in Orrville is about 30 minutes away."

"Each site comes with a fire ring and picnic table both in good condition. The pull thru sites were a tad small but nice and long. Even with the sites close together it was quiet and peaceful."
"We arrived mid-September 2020, so Covid has had it's impact and it's past Labor Day so pools / lakes are likely closed to swimming most years anyway, but given the size and amenities this campground boasts"

Beautiful fall camping biking hiking kayaking.... Looking forward to coming back
Simple site with hookups. For the price, I didn't expect much. The hosts were friendly and got me in last minute despite coming in their last weekend of the year. It's about an hour from Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Sadly didnt get more pictures from the campground, aside from a frosty picnic table.
We camped here for the first time this year and ended up booking 2 more trips here. We just finished our last trip. We love this campsite. No other place has sites this big and give you this much space. Awesome place to camp
This is the cleanest park we've ever used! The bathroom is tidy; the showers are roomy and convenient to use. There is a nice playground for younger kids as well as a pickleball court and basketball court for teens and adults. There also is a pleasant hiking trail. We stayed in Site 42, a concrete site, which was fantastic for my spouse's mobility issues. The sites are not super spaced apart, but, with the graduated elevation, we didn't feel smashed together. We visited Amish Country to absorb the beautiful fall scenery, to shop at local stores, and to relax by a campfire in the evening . The campground was perfect for us. If you're seeking a wilderness adventure , this park is not for you .
Could not ask for a better site. Absolutely beautiful setting. A nice small lake for fishing, and a perfect shallow stream for kids to play in, running right by the sites. The pool house and facilities are spotlessly clean. On top of that, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We even needed a jumpstart for our truck when we were towing the camper out on a rainy Monday morning and someone came around to help. 100% will come back and 100% would recommend to anyone.
Well maintained campground with friendly staff. Super spacious and clean bathhouse. Close to Berlin and Millersburg for exploring Amish country. Some road noise due to location on main highway.
We just bought our first RV and couldn’t ask for a better first time experience!!! Lori and Fred were absolutely awesome. Great clean facilities and pool. Lots of new upgrades and updates. Gorgeous creek and pond and an absolutely amazing set of neighbors! I loved it there and will absolutely be going back!
We arrived in the evening after reserving our spot earlier. We selected a non-electric site that as near the entrance and despite a surprising number of campers on a Wednesday, it was quiet and peaceful.
Very well maintained and a visible presence of security and maintenance personnel who were friendly and helpful.
A very nice way to start our car camping trip.
This park is off the beaten path and filled mostly with Full Timers in beautiful landscaped sites. But room for overnighters like us. All sites have electric and water. The laundry is small, only 1 working washer, but it came in handy. The bathrooms have free showers but could use a deep cleaning. Big open field for the dog to play
Nimisila Reservoir Metro Park Campground offers 29 sites in Green, with 6 sites providing electric hookups while the remaining sites are non-electric. The campground sits along an 800-acre reservoir, creating opportunities for kayaking and fishing, but lacks running water facilities. Winter camping remains available with reduced occupancy, making it one of the few year-round options in the area.
Kayaking at Nimisila Reservoir: The shallow waters and lengthy shoreline create ideal conditions for paddlers. "The reservoir itself was nice to look at but fairly weedy at the launch area. People were kayaking for sure," notes one visitor to Nimisila Reservoir Metro Park Campground. Gas motors are prohibited, making this a peaceful paddling destination.
Explore Amish Country: Located within driving distance of Green, Berlin offers authentic Amish experiences. "The campground is right in the middle of Amish Country so there's plenty of beautiful scenery, lots of shopping, wonderful roadside produce and cheese stands and other tourist hotspots so you won't be bored," shares a camper who stayed at Evergreen Park RV Resort.
Fishing opportunities: Multiple reservoirs and lakes near Green provide fishing access. "My wife and I spent the July 4 weekend here this year and loved our experience," writes a visitor to Berlin RV Park & Campground, noting the proximity to local attractions. At Nimisila, shore fishing is available but described as "just iffy" by experienced anglers.
Clean facilities: Bathroom cleanliness varies significantly between campgrounds. "SPOTLESS bathrooms and I mean SPOTLESS. Lots to do for kids: Sand Volleyball, basketball court, tetherball, corn hole area and playground," reports a camper at Berlin RV Park. Another visitor notes, "The bathrooms, showers and laundry areas were very clean. There also was not an issue with biting insects."
Spacious campsites: Site dimensions differ across the region. "We were surrounded by pine trees along the banks of a 800-acre reservoir. Lots of birdwatching and relaxing," shares a visitor to Countryside Campground. At Nimisila, "The sights on the outer rim of the loop (often, the even numbered sites) tend to be the better sites."
Indoor amenities for extended seasons: Some parks offer all-weather facilities. "The indoor pool is great for enjoying a swim even in January and the bathrooms and showers are spotless and very private," writes a visitor to Evergreen Park RV Resort. These facilities allow for comfortable camping beyond summer months.
Water access limitations: Several campgrounds near Green lack full water amenities. "NO WATER. Please do not make the mistake I did. There is no running water here. No showers, nothing to wash with or drink. You must bring in your water and bath when you get home," warns a Nimisila camper. Plan accordingly by bringing sufficient water supplies.
Noise considerations: Sound levels vary by location and timing. "There are no rules, apparently, and the locals know it is their backyard party place," reports one Nimisila visitor, while another advises: "If you camp anywhere along the East bog in the summer - BRING EARPLUGS or the bullfrogs will NOT let you sleep."
