Not my first choice of campground

Flat ground, sand, dirt, moss, leaves. Enough space for 2-3 tents. Lots of trees for hammocks. Wheelchair accessible picnic table. Fire ring. First time I have seen roaches in the wild. Water spigot down the road a bit. Close campsites, no privacy. Close to the parkway, constant road noise. Okay…

Beautiful and relaxing water sites

Stayed here 2 nights in May, Friday-Sunday. There were a decent amount of people on Friday, but significantly more on Saturday. Park employees and park police drive around through the day. Some big groups of campers got a little rowdy at night. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. I thought…

June Camping

Spacious campsite, although the closest water spigot wasn't working. Not a big problem as there are plenty of others. Bathrooms were clean. Showers were a little spidery but kind of expected at a campground. Ticks were very active on this visit be sure to remember your bug spray and tuck your pants…

Had a great time!

Nice weekend at a new-to-us campground, August 2020. Each campsite has a firepit/ring, picnic table, and lantern hook. Privacy depends on the campsite, some have more trees and plants than others. We chose a corner site to hopefully have less interaction with neighbors during the pandemic. We…

Memorial Day Camping Trip

Well maintained campground and facilities. Lot of trails nearby, though some of the trails are shared with motorized vehicles/bicyclists.

I'm a happy camper!

Just give me a parking spot and some privacy and I'm good. Cheesequake has just enough space between sites and the foliage gives you the personal space you need. Facilities are fair for what the cost is, the alternative is a $160 hotel room. By the way... Rained the whole time we we're there and…

Horrible experience

After coming to this site with a group of friends over the weekend. I was shocked to see how the manager handled another large group that was there. She claimed they were disrespectful and loud. It was a large group but they were very respectful and not being loud at the slightest (no loud…

A three day weekend must.

Finally after the closure during covid the campgrounds open memorial day. 7 miles of ocean and bay side beaches, historic buildings, and walking trials. Carry in carry out rules apply, don't be that person!

Spring Camping

Good size site. Plenty of room to park two cars. Firewood available for purchase at the park office but you have to make sure it will be open depending on your arrival time. Lots of trails that were well marked. Clean bathrooms. Went to a program about beavers that included a hike around Pakim Pond…

Depends on the site

Overall I think this campground has a lot to offer if you have a family and are looking to provide them with activities. Fishing in the pond insite, swimming in the pool and lots of family weekends throughout the season.

However, for whatever reason the sites are all covered in stone, and I…

Cold night but worth it

Kicked off my first camp in the US at Jenny Jump. 2nd April 2021, site 34. Plenty of space, car park within 20-30ft. Was a cold night, 24oF. Burrr. Hikes close by. Other campers friendly. Dog friendly on a leash.
