Best Glamping near Hopkinton-Everett Lake

We stayed in a cabin with our pup. This place was very clean and loaded with amenities: pool, dog park, events, open fields, deer, store, etc. This was glamping with a fire pit 😃 There were plenty of sites for all size RV’s with hook-ups. A town with lots to do and see is nearby including hiking trails.

Love this place. The camp store offers pleanty of stuff. Activity’s for children and adults. Love the pond. The new owners are amazing! And its not glamping. Every site seems perfect. With the hidden gem ones as well. My whole family loves going here! Stayed 2x thos yr. and booked 9 days next july and some in oct. close enough to home so my husband can comuit for work as well. Halloween themed weekend was so incredibly fun. The seasonal sights go all out!

This is a smaller campground with a few loops of campsites. The sites that are near the small pond are generally larger and have better space for pitching a tent. The sites on the first two loops/spur roads are smaller and most of them are designated for tents only or tents/popups. Site 33 is large and level, suitable for an RV, but Group B site is right behind it, which may or may not be an issue.  Group A & C sites are also in the first two loops.

65, 67, 68 are walk-in sites, with the tent area lower, closer to the water.  At the top of the hill, there are several yurts available.

Dump station and additional swimming/water activities are a little farther down the road at Lake Dennison .

We are seasoned RV'ers and have traveled extensively visiting campgrounds all over the East Coast. In all the years we have been camping we have NEVER been treated so horribly. The owners are by far the nastiest people I have ever met. Our son owns a very popular business in the same town. He also lives right up the road from the campground. We were visiting for 4 days excited to spend some time with our grandkids. We were hoping to spend a couple of hours on Saturday with the kids by the pool. Something I told the owner when I called to book. He never once mentioned extra fees. He also said he would be happy to put us by the pool. It all started the first night when we had our son, daughter in law and one grandchild for dinner. They wanted to charge my daughter in law$115 to visit. I went up to the office and tried to explain that they would be there only about an hour for dinner. They said for them to visit for 4 days that was the charge. I tried to explain that they would only be having dinner that night and Friday night. The kids were in camp all day so no kids would be with us during the day. They let them in for an hour. The next morning, the husband was out by the pool, so I went over to try and talk to him. I let him know that we would probably not be there very much during the four days or it would only be for dinners. We had hoped to have the kids for a couple hours on Saturday to use the pool so I offered to pay for that. He got very defensive and told me that campers like Me didn't belong in his campground, and that he he was a small local company and they all work together in that town. I replied well, if you all work together then obviously, you don't work with certain businesses because my son owns one of the best businesses in the town. He told me if I didn't like it that he would give me my money back. I went back to the RV and spoke to my husband called my son. My son said mom just get out of there and go to my house. As I was packing up to leave, he came along with his golf cart, and his wife and I had my back to him and I turned and told him we were leaving. He had my check in his hand and gave it back to me. And told me to get out and then the wife got out and started using the F word She was so nasty that we couldn't wait to get out of there since then we've read a lot of negative reviews similar to our experience. All I can say is if you want to go camping in Thornton, New Hampshire don't go to Goose Hollow campground. If you're an outsider you will be treated like trash. We have camped many times at Branch Brook campground in Campton New Hampshire, which is right down the street. We made a big mistake choosing GOOSE HOLLOW this time. The kicker is that the pamphlet that they give you when you arrive with the map it says on the pamphlet if you have overnight guests you're allowed four adults and two children total. The extra adults would pay$10 apiece and the children would pay five dollars apiece but that was for OVERNIGHT only. Not at any time did we plan to have guests overnight. Also, we booked(and paid for) a site which would've included two adults and two children. I explained to them that we were only two adults, and if we did have the grandkids there, they would be the two children. He told me those were OLD rules. BEWARE If I could give this 0 stars I would

Me and my fiancé last minute booked a 4th of July trip last minute and had a wonderful time! Our site was all rocks and we were tenting but we made it work knowing we booked the trip last minute! Brought our dog and he had fun!

Nice and casual campground. We came here after we struck out at Saddleback (about 40 miles east of here, because they were full), and were much happier here than we would have been at Saddleback. Saddleback campers had “don’t tread on me” signs, campers here had rainbow signs. Office staff was friendly and professional and helpful. 

Keyser Pond is in the Passport America program, and we paid $25 for a FHU site with that discount, so double that for normal rates. The campground is a little run down and disheveled looking, with a lot of long-termers, some with hard PVC sewer piping from their RVs. There’s a store and a rec room, sadly no book exchange though. There’s a basketball court and playground, a beach volleyball court, a little pond. There are dumpsters here, but no recycling. 

Cost for non-campers to use the dump is an astonishing $40, which can’t be right, but that’s what the sign said. I’d confirm that with the office though. You can hear road noise but it wasn’t bothersome. There’s good free wifi at camp, and good cell reception with Verizon and ATT. Camp takes security seriously, with gated entry and wristbands for guests to wear. Laundry is great, open 24 hours, $1.50/wash and $0.25 per 6 min or so for dryer. Showers were hot (low pressure though) and not free, at $0.25/5 min. Sites not fully level but leveling blocks took care of it.

This is okay for what it is. The staff all seemed very friendly everytime we had interacted with them. The store was convenient. The bathroom was clean, but pretty cramped. Definitely aimed towards more of the RV/camper fields. It seems like the majority of the sites are seasonals. The tent sites are wicked small, packed together and so close to the highway you don't get an ounce of quiet. Dogs are not allowed in the pond even though the water itself was already pretty questionable. There was a camp across the pond (not affiliated with the campground I believe) that was blaring loud rap music and hollering all night. A group of children were in the woods next to our site yelling profanities and attempting to make a teepee throughout the day.

Definitely not a place to go relax and be in nature. We left two days before our departure date.

This was our first time out with a camper after tenting for decades. As soon as we saw our site my heart fell. We were literally surrounded on all sides with no privacy at all. The site was small and across from the basketball hoop( not great if you want to sleep in). We walked around the campground and there appeared to be some nice tent sites, but a majority of the full hook up sites were seasonal and some looked to have been there for quite awhile and they appear to have squeezed in as many sites as possible.Lots of activities for kids. A pond that many used for kayaking and canoeing. Dog friendly, nice enough staff.The one time I used the bathroom there, it was clean and functional. I just felt like the whole weekend we were being watched and won’t go back. Others love the campground, but we like some privacy.

Small but well organized campground. TT members will find all th e comforts of home. Staff is pleasant and helpful. Quiet during the weekdays, picks up over weekends but not to overbearing. Sandy beach by the water has plenty of room to relax out in the sun as well as launch areas to set out in a paddle boat, canoe or row boat, all available on site. Mostly a 5th wheelers park but you can see a 34 foot class A here and there so don't fret, there is room.

found access to water very hard due to people gathered elbow to elbow very hard to maneuver around union workers from mass and friends . Functions charging some people for event letting others in for free to eat food .

The campground is very friendly... a lot of seasonal folks. We had a nice corner site which fit our 34’ rig just fine. The sandy beach is nice but the swimming area is quite weedy. Our biggest issue though was the over-abundance of gypsy moth worms. Crawling over everything and the concern of bringing them home with us to infest our trees. Not the campground’s fault, but of concern never the less. Could just be the year of the gypsy moth!

We enjoyed our stay. The first site we got was way too small for our tent and they accommodated us and gave us a choice of two others to pick from. A lot of seasonal people but friendly. Playground is on the beach. They don’t allow sparklers so that was a bummer ok the 4th, but still got to see fireworks . Showers are free. We would stay again!

I have been camping here for my entire life. As a kid and teenage seasonal. Now as an adult I camp here probably once or twice a year with a tent. 

This place has just about everything a campground can offer. Organized bingo, hayrides, large pools, an adult only pool, hot tubs, a pond, etc. 

My biggest gripe is the limit of 2 adults MAX per site. As an adult with no kids I would like to bring along another couple once in a while that also enjoys camping. This would require me to get a 2nd site from the already very limited tent sites available. With Cold Springs being on the expensive side for sites, allowing 4 adults should be allowed.

They already allow 2 tents and 2 vehicles per site, but arbitrarily restrict to 2 adults.

Very family centric, 7 pools which (include 2 hot tubs, a small 2x2 pool for kiddos, 1 adult only pool and 3 family pools). We went for halloween weekend in August and their haunted house was incredible for a campground! Nicely landscaped although the roads are very narrow. Made it hard to back in our spot. Will be coming back!

Definitely a top ten campground. Very clean and well maintained grounds and buildings. Great activities.

Great campground. The pools are amazing. Kid pools. Adult pools! Adult hot tub.
