Best Campgrounds near Bay St. Louis, MS

They have a great bar, food truck. Camp ground is clean and well maintained. Staff is great.

Will take your money and not answer your calls all day long. Someone was in our site we reserved, and not a soul on site to help give us a bathroom code. So no access to toilets or showers.

Great spot of swimming and biking. Private spots and great shade.

Excellent location to walk to beach. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Clean. Well kept. Big dog park!

Ok for a stopover. We had to book 2 nights since it was a weekend. This might be a good place to stay if you were attending an event in New Orleans such as a game. But the sites are super close together and not much shade. They have wifi but when we connected it said ‘no internet’ so apparently it wasn’t working. AT&T cell service was 5G.

Handicap bathrooms are decent but lights are motion censored so can turn off on you while you are in the shower. People at the front entrance are very nice but seem a bit frazzled. They could use more staff to take the load off. I do believe there are homeless people coming in here without paying to shower and stay in their cars from time to time from what I heard from staff. Did not witness this however.

We stayed in a yurt and had the best time! It was a perfect short get away! Staff is amazing ❤️

Nice park very clean

Wide spaces, set apart from each other. Great facilities. They are adding more! Hookups in right location and right heights. 2 pools, 2 hot tubs, level concrete pads. Great roads. Activities at huge awesome clubhouse with a bar!!!!! Staff couldn't try harder to please. Garbage pickup at site. All this for very reasonable price, plus Good Sam discount!!!!!!

At the time we visited, the high were in the low 80's, mine you this was November. Camp host very friendly and helpful.

I wish I wouldn’t known this was only accessible via boat, which in hindsight was obvious from the title lol.

Has all amenities. Pool very cold. And hot tub is boiling. Once you check in it’s really hard to get ahold of anyone in the office. They were very kinda and accommodating for checking in. No change for laundry and clothes lines are not allowed. Cats everywhere and a ton of dog poop in the front area next to the pool. The owners dog was running around and scared the life out of ours.

Nothing really near by other than the bus stuff for down town.

The do have a shuttle but Uber is usually cheaper and fast and much more flexible.

Mostly long term residents in residential mobile homes, motor homes, fifth wheels, and travel trailers. Some are in need of repairs and power washing. Not an RV resort. That’s the bad. Now the good. Location, location, location; 30 minutes from New Orleans, $600 a month or $175 a week (as of 11/2024), electricity and water included in price, FHU.

We stayed in the new loop @ $45/night. Unfortunately, the loop is one way, and because of the way the sites are laid out, it forces you to back in on your blind side. The disappointing thing is that we contacted the park ahead of our stay to change our arrival date due to the possibility of a tropical storm hitting the area. They would not refund us for two days, but would issue a credit for a future stay within a year. We live nowhere near Biloxi, and will never be able to use the credit, and they do not care because they have our money already. The worst sites in the park ended costing us $85/night. Don't recommend this park.

Nice location if it weren't for the truck noise, subwoofer bandits and susceptibility to flooding.   The management is non-existent except for when it's time to be stupid.

They have some very obnoxious full-time RVs there who  who prey on short-term visitors with obnoxious motorcycle behavior.  Avoid the fire pit circle... Loud drunk and incredibly obnoxious people.

Good place to go on a camping trip
