Best RV Parks & Resorts near Biloxi, MS

Along the Mississippi Gulf Coast, Biloxi offers several well-equipped RV parks with beach proximity. Cajun RV Park features full hookups with 50 amp service, concrete pads, and is located directly across from Biloxi Beach. Gulf Beach RV Resort provides level concrete sites with full hookups and cable TV, situated just a block from the shoreline. Majestic Oaks RV Resort stands out with 100 sites offering both 30 and 50 amp service, a heated year-round pool, and a dedicated dog park. Biloxi Bay RV Resort accommodates big rigs with spacious sites and complete hookup options. "The sites vary in size, we noticed most big rigs had to park their tow vehicles or toads in the auxiliary parking," noted one traveler about the spacing considerations at some parks.

Most RV campgrounds in the Biloxi area remain open year-round, with peak seasons during winter months when snowbirds arrive. Proximity to casinos, restaurants, and entertainment venues makes these parks popular for extended stays. Cell service is generally strong throughout the region, with most parks offering WiFi access. Dump stations are available at most facilities, though Southern Oaks Mobile Home & RV Community lacks this amenity. Pet-friendly policies are standard across all parks, though specific restrictions may apply. Parkers Landing RV Park offers easy access from I-10, making it convenient for overnight travelers. Reservations are recommended, especially during winter months and for weekend stays during summer beach season when availability becomes limited.

    Magnolia Sands RV Park

    Magnolia Sands RV Park, Mississippi

What a great little RV park Magnolia Sands is!! Bridgett and Gary offer a rural setting in southeast Mississippi. 5 miles from Wiggins, Ms. Park has 20 sites with full hook-ups. $24 for 30 amp and $26 per night for 50 amp. Beautiful park amongst the trees with its own pond. Concrete pads are large enough to handle most “big rigs”. Open year round and monthly rates are available. The park is 40 miles north of Gulf Port and Biloxi so finding some Gulf beaches is easy. On site is a laundry, game room, meeting room and bathrooms with showers. Basketball and volleyball areas provide recreational entertainment. A strong WiFi network is available. The nearby town of Wiggins has everything you’ll need! Restaurants, grocery stores and fuel.

If you are looking for a quite, peaceful, no frills spot to stay… I highly recommend Magnolia Sands RV Park! We have already booked our stay to return in March.

    Oaklawn RV Park

    Good for a layover

The good: location was great, right off the highway and next to a Camping World, Tire center, and emergency vet. Wi-Fi worked well, park felt safe, and we were only 10 minutes from major attractions in the area. The bad: water pressure was horrible. Sites were tight and overlapping, a little uneven, and about 4 inches unlevel. This is definitely a long term campground connected to a mobile home park.

There are a few open pull throughs for transient travelers and I would recommend them as an overnight stay based on location only.

    Cajun RV Park

    Southern Hospitality

We stayed here two nights at this lovely park across the street from Biloxi Beach. The location is fantastic. We had a back in site, but they let us pull through anyway. Thanks! There's a nice pool, showers and laundry, several pavilions for picnics. Definitely a nice place to stay when locating on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

Davis Bayou Campground — Gulf Islands National Seashore

Gem on the Mississippi Gulf Coast

We really enjoyed our stay at Davis Bayou. The campground seems to be a bit dated, but we kinda enjoyed the nostalgic element this added to the vibe.

The sites vary in size, we noticed most big rigs had to park their tow vehicles or toads in the auxiliary parking. If this is a problem you may want to look at other options, as the park staff is very diligent about keeping folks off the grass.

The park staff did regular patrols though out the park. They were very friendly.

We enjoyed riding our bikes around the park and to the historic arts district in Ocean Springs. There are several restaurants and bars with live music which was fun. There are also alot of art studios to check out.

We also took our canoe all though out Davis Bayou and to the beach, which was a ton of fun. The tides are in play here, so make sure you study up as conditions can and do change rapidly.

The visitors center is definitely worth checking out and while your there make sure to check out the fishing pier.

Each site has a picnic table, fire ring, power and water.

The cost is $22 a night per site.

The bathhouses were cleaned regular and had great water pressure. The water has a bit of a smell to it.

    Verizon cell service worked okay.

    Bring bug spray.

    Santa Maria RV Park

Christopher Columbus Would Have Loved This Place!

I’m not sure where they got the name from, but if El Colon was still living, he would really dig how this RV parking lot is using the name of his beloved Santa Maria! Located due south of Farragut Lake, right off Rt. 10 and just west of the Pascagoula River, you’ll come across Santa Maria RV Resort Marina.

This spot offers up just about everything you would expect – full RV hook ups including water, sewer and electricity (30 / 50 amp), level gravel beds where you can just connect, level up and be done with it in under 5 minutes. Unlike most RV parking lots, this place has a ton of space and there’s somewhat good distance between your spot and those on either side of you. And if you’re hauling or driving anything bigger than the standard RV or camper, no worries, this place is spacious enough to accommodate just about any size (and even large group sizes). The campground was both kid and pet friendly. Also, I found the on-site campground management team to be incredibly over-friendly (nice Southern hospitality!) and accommodating.

From an amenities standpoint, this place is completely full-service (in fact, they’ll escort you right to your campsite!). They’ve got a small, but clean swimming pool, laundr-O-mat, spartan restroom facilities and a propane pump on-site. WiFi is available for free and cable is offered for a small price if you need that. Overall, I found the place to be very well-organized, incredibly clean and exceptionally safe with round-the-clock security.

With nature in mind, this place is in close proximity to quite a bit – from Gautier, MS who’s moniker is ‘Nature’s Playground,’ there’s tons of wildlife to see, decent outdoor recreation and hiking to be found and bayous all over the place to drop your kayak or canoe into.

Insider’s tip? Some of the best kayaking was had in and around Mississippi - Sandhill Crane National Wildlife Refuge. Closer to the campground though, you’ll find a splendid little Southern town in the City of Gautier, which has some quiet boutique-type shops, Southern restauarnts (I strongly recommend Belle’s on the Bayou or Country Gentleman), farmers market on the weekends, nice municipal parks and even some art exhibits from time to time. All in all, I strongly recommend Santa Maria RV Resort Marina if you’re looking for a decent stop along your travels.

    Happy Camping!

Davis Bayou Campground — Gulf Islands National Seashore

    Close to Ocean Springs, Ms.

This is a popular park during the winter months as it is a National Park. Reserve early. No wifi, no laundry but clean bathrooms and shower. Electric and water at the campsites and a dump station is available. Close to town and all the good eats. Nice clean park.

    Parkers Landing RV Park

    Great stopover

Right off I-10, this park is convenient to thru travelers looking for a quick overnight. Not horribly expensive. Full hook ups, clean level site. Easy in and out. Bathrooms dated but super clean. Many long-term campers here but no problem, everyone was cool. Would definitely stay here again.

    Gulf Haven Campground

    Good location

We had a good stay here in the summer of 2019. The pool was small, but we preferred to just walk across the road to the beach. Occasionally, we drove to spend the day on the beach. We were close to town, but out enough that it was relatively quiet. The bathrooms were wonderful and the laundry room was great for our week stay. It is pet friendly, and my only complaint is that no one monitored the owners to make sure they cleaned up after their pets. Also, the sites are all close and gravel. Over all we were satisfied and would stay here again in the future.

    Dockside RV Resort

    Clean, quiet, & great location

Very nice rv park. All have full hookups including sewer. Lots at gravel and level with plenty of room to park your camper & tow vehicle. Swimming g pool is nice, there is also a large fire pit. We arrived late and we’re offered help setting up since it was getting dark. WiFi is good enough for Roku & Hulu. Fishing dock is right across the street and we were only 25 minutes from Dauphin Island.

Guide to Biloxi

Near the Mississippi Gulf Coast, Biloxi RV campgrounds offer diverse options between coastal parks and inland retreats. Located along Highway 90, most sites provide ocean access with seasonal considerations including hurricane season from June through November. Water levels in the Back Bay area fluctuate with tide patterns, affecting fishing and water activities at several RV parks.

What to do

Beach activities: Gulf Beach RV Resort provides convenient beach access just a block away from the shoreline. As one camper noted, "You can walk a block to the beach, bring a wagon to haul your beach gear or drive as there is parking at the beach." Visitors often find the proximity ideal for spontaneous beach outings.

Fishing opportunities: Biloxi Bay RV Resort offers water access for anglers. The resort sits along the water with boat access mentioned in their features. Visitors can enjoy both saltwater and freshwater fishing depending on location and tides.

Go-kart racing: Adjacent entertainment venues provide family activities near some RV parks. A Cajun RV Park visitor mentioned, "The down side is the go cart track and slightly crowded. However, the room you have can be well used and kids can run about safely." This proximity to entertainment makes it convenient for families seeking activities beyond camping.

Casino visits: Most Biloxi RV parks offer easy access to local gaming establishments. As one reviewer at Gulf Beach RV Resort mentioned, "The real draw is the beach just across the street, and the casinos down the road." Many parks offer shuttle service or are within walking distance of casino entertainment.

What campers like

Pool facilities: Multiple Biloxi-area RV parks maintain year-round pool access. At Majestic Oaks RV Resort, campers appreciate the "heated pool year round" as part of their amenity package. One reviewer specifically mentioned this as a standout feature, stating the park has "Amazing staff, clean, big showers, heated pool year round."

Military convenience: Shields RV Park provides specialized accommodations for military personnel. A reviewer noted its advantages: "Nice sites.. full hookups. Close to Gulfport. Train whistle but not bad." Another mentioned, "Large full hook up sites, nice laundry facility and restrooms, and the office staff was very professional and accommodating for our last minute reservations."

Dog amenities: Pet-friendly RV sites near Biloxi, Mississippi often include specialized dog facilities. A Majestic Oaks visitor highlighted that the park "has its own dog park" among its amenities. Another camper mentioned the park offers "plenty of space" making it suitable for travelers with pets.

Concrete pads: Level, stable parking surfaces rank high in camper preferences. One Gulf Beach RV Resort visitor described, "Level concrete pads with full hookups and cable. Newish with fine laundry/bath/shower/office facilities." These features particularly benefit larger RVs requiring stable setup surfaces.

What you should know

Site spacing considerations: Many Biloxi RV campgrounds feature closely spaced sites. At Oaklawn RV Park, a visitor warned, "Each site is extremely small/tight. When we put out our awning, it literally hit the RV that was next to us." This spacing issue appears common across multiple facilities in the area.

Noise factors: Location-specific noise sources affect sleep quality at certain parks. One reviewer at Shields RV Park mentioned, "You hear trains and traffic at all hours," while another noted proximity to "giant voice speaker so you won't sleep in past 8am any day and you'll hear any emergency."

Wi-Fi reliability varies: Internet connectivity fluctuates significantly between parks. An Oaklawn visitor reported, "The internet is virtually non-existent, which is an issue because they list it in the park description." Checking recent reviews about connectivity before booking helps manage expectations.

Reservation requirements: Booking patterns shift seasonally for RV camping near Biloxi. At Parkers Landing RV Park, visitors appreciate it as "Right off I-10, this park is convenient to thru travelers looking for a quick overnight. Not horribly expensive. Full hook ups, clean level site. Easy in and out."

Tips for camping with families

Pool activities: Cajun RV Park offers family-friendly water recreation. A visitor noted, "We are really close to the pool/rec room/bathhouse which all seem very well maintained and clean." The pool provides cooling options during hot summer months.

Entertainment proximity: Look for parks located near family attractions. One Cajun RV Park visitor wrote, "Great location next to a lot of fun amenities. We only have bikes so we are excited that we can walk/bike to multiple restaurants, kid places (go carts next door), beach and shops."

Safety considerations: Gated communities provide additional security for family campers. A Majestic Oaks visitor highlighted "gated community" among their positive attributes, while another mentioned, "The neighbor is a little rough looking (I did feel very safe) but you wouldn't know it behind the gates and it is very quite."

Space for children: Select parks with adequate room for kids to play. At Cajun RV Park, a camper observed the "room you have can be well used and kids can run about safely," despite some spaces being closer together than at other facilities.

Tips from RVers

Leveling challenges: Some Biloxi area RV sites require additional equipment for proper leveling. A Parkers Landing visitor noted, "The park is older, and some of the cement pads are cracked and heaving, but looked like people were able to level up."

Tow vehicle parking: Green Wood Stable Lodge RV Park provides a quieter alternative to beachfront locations. A visitor described it as "a quiet country feel just minutes from downtown Biloxi and the casinos." Another mentioned, "Close to Casinos! 15 minutes to the beach."

Laundry access: Clean laundry facilities matter for extended stays. Majestic Oaks received praise for having "plenty of washers and driers for 24/7 laundry days," making it suitable for longer-term visitors needing this amenity.

Water pressure issues: Check recent reviews for utility quality before booking. At Oaklawn, a visitor warned about "water pressure was horrible," suggesting bringing pressure regulators and supplemental water storage for inconsistent systems.
