"This is a smaller campground with some full timers or seasonal campers. We stayed a week and enjoyed our time there. We had lots of rain so we didn’t get outside as much as we wanted."

There are cabins and tent sites and a large lake access point with a beach area. The playgrounds seemed to be in good shape and the dumpsters were centrally located.
The park has a gate entrance for security.
There is a large pool area and basketball court.
There are several sections in the park, some more wooded and narrow sites, some are more spread out.
Cellular: T-Mobile had good signal strength and bandwidth, AT&T was not as good but still doable.
Most of the sites are full hook up, some have 30amp and some have 50amp.

ScoutThis campground is pretty rustic with water and electricity at some sites, no showers or restrooms, a dump station for one at a time, Porta potties scattered around, small beach, small boat launch, mostly appears to be seasonal sites without sewer or rustic sites. Some but not a lot of shade, rolling fields being made into smaller sized sites. Dogs and dogs pens are allowed, and they do not appear to have parents who are attentive or keep them from barking. Friendly staff and family of four owners.
GuideWe have been here a few times. Really enjoy the secluded sites and the lake. It’s a small campground but it’s clean and quiet. Most sites don’t have water hookups but they do have electric. There isn’t much to do outside of the campground but there is a nice lake with canoe and kayak rentals. Very pet friendly and even has a dog beach.
GuideThis is a great campground. There are a lot of things for kids to do including a swimming pond, playground, basketball, volleyball, and a catch and release fish pond. There are a couple pull through sites but most are back in and easily fit just about any rig. There are two bath houses and a dump station but no sewer. Awesome staff! Cabelas’s right down the street.
GuideFriendly staff. Camp store in office. Pull through full hook up site. Seemed to be more of a permanent campground but everyone was friendly. The campground hosted activities such as a potluck and dj dance party at the pavilion.
GuideWonderful place even when it’s packed. Harder to get reservations over the years but always a great place to stay. Awesome bathrooms newly renovated. Nice spots. Mostly paved in the lower sites. Nice swimming area however no beach sand. Just a grassy area. Public boat launch on Bruin lake. Bruin lake connects to a few more lakes creating a nice chain of lakes. Half moon at the end of the chain is a great all sports lake. Awesome fishing. Sites have electric, no water. There is a dump station. Wood and ice available for purchase and a few vending machines. Nice hiking trails. They do have a few hike in yurts and hike in camping sites. Decent parking places for those hike ins.
LegendWe spent this past week at Hogback Lake KOA. It is late in the season so much of the park was closed for the season, but we had a great year round site. A little bit of road noise, but water, electric, sewer, cable TV all worked great. We have family in the area and had a great visit. We will definitely stay here again in the spring.
