Great Campground

Great out of the way campground. It was nice and quiet. Bathrooms were clean and well kept. The gentleman that checked us in moved things around so we could all be together not on different sites well away frome each other. Would definitely go there again.

Alpha male vibe

Camp ground was adding new spots so there were lots of piles of dirt. Not many trees, nice pool, dirt roads. Camp ground attacks bikers.

Sitedrove camp ground but did not stay

Office Lied

We were told if we arrived by 9 PM we could have a campsite. We arrived at 8:50 and the office was closed. We had no where to sleep due to the fact that we had trusted the person in the office who lied to us.

Seriously clean and quiet!

Wow.. what a nice little getaway in Hell, Michigan area! Camp host, “Lightening” is a friendly and helpful guy who NEVER stopped working (except to chat with campers here and there). The big pool and bathrooms were immaculate, with surrounding patio furniture sanitized nightly (I watched from my RV window and was so impressed with Lightening’s genuine dedication). The site we had was very large and pretty level. The price we paid was W/E $30/night. Cannot beat that for a fun getaway on a budget! Neat area to find trails and lakes to enjoy as well. Highly recommended campground!

Awesome place!

Coolest place in Hell:) the staff is very helpful and wonderful if you need something. They either get it for you or point you in the correct direction. Mostly RV however tents are allowed. Pool, showers, restrooms are very clean, they have full hook ups at most sites or at least your electric and water. If you stay around awhile they treat you like family! This is an awesome place

Fine for RVs, not great for tent campers

The location is terrific, beside a terrific state recreation area. That said, as a camper, it was almost impossible to see anything natural around us since we surrounded by RVs and pop-ups. We did have a good time and the pool is great. Maybe if it wasn’t quite as busy, I would have enjoyed it more. I do plan to give them another shot!

Cooler than Hell

We’ve used this campground as a get-together place for our family reunion for the past 7 years, and we’ve never had anything less than a great experience. Relatively spacious sites, group accommodations, super clean amenities/pool area, basketball court... the list goes on. To the ownership and anyone who helps run this campground, a huge thanks from the Eisele family for keeping such a great campground! There’s a reason we keep coming back!

Great, clean private campground with easy access to the state parks.

This was our first time staying here. Great private campground with rustic, elec, water/elec (30 amp), and concrete pad sites. Very clean campground with nice shower house. Owners are very friendly. Direct connections to the Waterloo Pinckney trail system. Near Hell, Michigan and Chelsea, Michigan. Large pool in season. Priced reasonably.

Perfect for the whole family

What started as a little get away turned into not wanting to leave! A swimming pool and playground with basketball court to keep my kids entertained and clean facilities convinced me I had made the right choice. As an added plus a horse barn (Heavenly Horse Stables) right on property offering riding lessons, trail rides and meet and greets with their houses and other barn animals, my daughter wanted to move here. Other perks to this campground: Openings to Pinckney State trails right on property and all sorts of lakes, parks and small town downtown areas for food and shopping nearby, H.C.R.C. was a hidden gem.
