He said yes, she said no

Ok where to start. I could see this place could be better in an rv or if you are here for a festival. For me it was a little creepy and run down and dirty.

But I want to start and say people were very nice! This is def an rv place and as such the bathrooms were not very clean. I could not find the showers but was told they existed.

Places is full of history and he loved it for that. Considered the Nashville of the north and it prob was 50 years ago. I’m sure it was amazing then - they built a little Main Street. But now it’s pretty much run down. We had a good time taking pics. The lake is nice but seems more like a pond - not a swimming place but I saw people fishing.

Lots of cool photo spots and pretty grounds. It’s just the buildings were kind of run down and bathrooms were dirty - looked like the toilet hadn’t been cleaned in months. People overall were having a good time but mostly it was all RV’s.

Need some peace?

This place is a small slice of heaven. They have all your hook ups but what was really special was the peace at the lake. It melted all the stress of driving away only if for a short while. The kids also had a blast and all of our neighbors were very sweet people. 😊 If you find this review please stop here you will truly thank me.

Old Time Rockin’ Charm!

The site was perfect! We were only there for one night but it couldn’t have been better! Even for primitive sites the bathroom facilities were great!! Very clean! The little store was adorable, stage area with the names of all the performers is awesome, great musical history, friendly staff, beautiful lake and a fun beached whale to pose with.

Nashville of the North- Hippie Living Fair

So many legends have been on the stage at Buck Lake Ranch including Dolly Parton! This campground is great for music lovers as they have live shows on some weekends and a huge festival in September where we chose to camp on the bowl and had a great time. There are mature trees around the area and a nice path leading to the water where one could fish, swim or boat. Staying on site was such a better way than walking into the festival from parking so I highly recommend the upgrade. Otherwise there may be more readily available parking when there is not an event.
