GuideLet me just preface this review by saying when I go camping, I like to be immersed in nature– ideally with a toilet and shower nearby. These are my only desires. This is not that kind of campsite. But just because it isn’t for me, that doesn’t mean it won’t be for you.
Pros:
- Easy to book and accommodating staff.
- Restrooms/showers were clean(though the air fresheners are not migraine sufferer-friendly).
- Nice, tall trees.
Cons:
- My only real con is the general vibe. Again, it’s just not for me. It has lots of activities for kids (an arcade, park, pool, etc.), so if that’s what you’re looking for, great! It just wasn’t what I personally was looking for. But with limited camping options in the area, it was our only real choice.
GuideI can understand why this place is rated one of the best campgrounds in the country. This was my first time camping here with my own RV and it did not disappoint. Our site was spacious, and centrally located within the campground, they have all the amenities you can imagine living up to that “resort” title. Ranging from multiple pools, hot tubs, courts, pavilions, playgrounds, etc. the cell service was great, they offer WiFi, and much more. I love the store, it gives off that Great Wolf Lodge feel, and it has everything inside you may need. Including a little hidden café that surprisingly made good lattes. This place is massive, and I’ve never seen a campground that had as many million dollar RV’s in one place. That atmosphere is just great here. There is so much to do. It’s so big you need an e-bike just to get around. Resort-style campgrounds like this come at a steeper price compared to others, but in my opinion, Normandy was well worth the cost. We look forward to revisiting, often!

TravelerWhat a gem of a campground. The park staff are very helpful and friendly. The facilities: bathrooms, showers, dump station and trash receptacles are spotless. They offer nature oriented fun activities for all ages! And they even have playgrounds for the littles to play on. The sites are are mixed use, offering tent only, RV with electric, and group sites. They also have yurts that can rented, which come with a full size bed and bunk beds.

The bathrooms especially wete always clean. Its nice to be able to be comfortably in the woods while also having other amenities within 15-20 minute driving to pick up things we forgot or a little adventure. The sites were huge and had plenty of space for all our stuff and were all extremely well maintained.

First, they do an amazing job keeping our kids busy and entertained. There’s always something going on, which makes it a truly family-friendly campground and allows us parents to relax and enjoy our time as well.
The facilities are always clean, well-maintained, and organized. You can tell the staff takes pride in keeping everything in great shape, which makes a big difference in the overall experience.
What really stands out, though, is the management and staff. They are consistently friendly, helpful, and go above and beyond to make sure guests have a great stay. That level of care and attention is hard to find and is a big reason why we remain loyal visitors. This campground may very well be the best Koa that I have ever stayed at.
If you’re looking for a campground that’s clean, family-oriented, and run by an amazing team, this KOA is definitely worth visiting. We look forward to many more years of camping here!
TravelerI have to say one of the best campgrounds in New England. All of the bathrooms, showers, site and other places were all clean and well cared for. We had a nice site by the pond. It was peaceful while still being busy withe plenty of kids. They have hundreds of sites, mostly seasonal but gives you nice walk to see the place. The pools were really nice and again clean. They have a snack shack with breakfast, lunch and dinner. A well stocked store with very nice staff. It was our second stay and will not be our last.
The only thing that wasn't great was the WIFI and cell service isn't great.
