Cherry Hill Park

Escape the chaos of everyday life and discover true relaxation at our hidden gem glamping site! The Indian Rail Trail, Charles County's most exciting recreational trail, is just a 7-minute drive from your tent! This paved, 13-mile-long, ten-foot-wide path is a great excursion for bikers of all ages and connects the small town of Indian Head on the Potomac River to White Plains. The fairly level trail takes riders through mature forests, natural wetlands, and some farmland. During your stay, you can also take a 10-minute walk through the forest on our property to visit a serene creek.

Your Signature campsite sleeps up to 6-10 campers. The basic booking will accommodate 10 campers with 2 sleeping on the Queen Bed in the platform safari tent and up to 4 additional campers each in the two included pop-up tents. The site also comes with a picnic table, fire pit, and Adirondack chairs where you can kick back and take in the stars at night. Other extras you can add to your booking for added comfort include a twin sized air mattress and a solar generator that can power up to 8 devices. 

History buffs can explore the nearby Thomas Stone Historic Site (6 miles).  Atlantic Kayak Company is a 20-minute drive from the site; they offer kayak rentals and guided expeditions.  For families, Sky Zone Trampoline Park is a fun activity less than a 10-minute drive from the campsite.

There is a Walmart about 10 minutes away if you need any supplies and local produce can be procured on Wednesdays and Saturdays at the La Plata Farmer's Market (12 min drive) between April and November.

The Road To Serenity:
Our road is a quaint old country farm road made of grass and a few gravel patches here and there. It is a bit of a bumpy ride so take it slow and easy as you make your way to our hidden gate-away. There is one sharp left turn over a culvert and some dips and mild inclines so low sitting vehicles should definitely take it slow. The Road narrows as you get closer to the site  but there are reflectors along the way to keep you on the right path. We highly recommend getting there before dark.

Parking:
 Parking is on the grass meadow between the entrance to the meadow and the walking path to the campsite.  Reflectors are in place to outline the parking area. Avoid Driving beyond the parking area and down steep inclines in the meadow as softer ground presents a risk for getting stuck.( See custom property rules). Two gorilla wagons are available in the parking area to help transport your things to the campsite.

Toilet and Shower Set-up:
 There is a privacy tent that contains a toilet seat over a bucket. You put a bag with absorbent materials in the bucket to do your biological business. There is a foot pumped sink for handwashing. There is a portable automatic shower that provides hot water available as well the solar shower bag.

Tents: Two small 6 person tents come free with the reservation. You may add Pre-Set-Up glamping amenities  including a twin air mattress, bedding, side table and lighting, propane heater,icybreeze air conditioner and rugs to these tents for an additional fee of $50/Tent. Pets: Fur Babies (Dog or Cat) Campers must be added as an amenity for an additional fee of $ 20.00. Contact Campkeeper- Vaneesha to add pet camping as an extra at 301-818-0982. For the safety of your pets, ensure that they are treated for ticks prior to camping. Be sure to check for Ticks prior to bringing pets into the tent.

Noises and Sounds: This property is located in a small community and campers will occasionally experience common city noises such as airplanes flying overhead or distant traffic sounds from motorcycles and trucks. 

Navigation: Waze takes you directly to the campsite. Other GPS systems may take you to the main road. Additional navigation and instructions will be provided upon making a reservation.

The Space:
A private, secluded and relaxing campsite in the heart of Maryland and close to the Indian Rail Trail! Only 30 Minutes from Washington D.C and the National Harbor.

Guest Access:
This is an exclusive Tentrr Signature campsite. Tentrr partners with land owners to offer unique accommodations in beautiful outdoor spaces. Our campsites are off-the-grid which means they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature! 

Your Tentrr campsite includes a 10'x12' (120 square feet) safari-style canvas tent on a raised wooden platform. Inside the tent you'll find one queen bed or a queen-size bunk bed (see photos for the exact setup). The tent is big enough for the bed plus one or two extra sleeping bags on the floor. Aside from the canvas tent, campers can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that___s provided. You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs, and a heating source to keep you warm and toasty at night. 

Max Occupancy: This refers to the total number of campers allowed onsite with your reservation. 

Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. To use, line the bucket with a CleanWaste Sani-Bag supplied at the camp prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. CleanWaste Sani-Bags use a NASA-developed gelling/deodorizing agent that helps prevent spills and keeps everyone safe and clean.

Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.

-A cooler to keep your grub from spoiling 
-Bedding and pillows

Interaction with Guests:
Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location on the property. 

If a CampKeeper submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the CampKeeper___s property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!

Reservation Modifications/Cancellations: Please note the terms of the cancelation policy as they are outlined in your reservation confirmation on Airbnb. Your CampKeeper is unable to change or cancel your reservation on your behalf, and they are unable to waive any cancellation fees (if applicable). Other Things to Note:
1. Do pack food, flashlights, firewood and an extra layer to keep you warm if the temperature drops.
2. Do not go in or around neighboring property barns or structures.
3. Place all trash in designated trash cans.
4. No unauthorized Pets allowed.Pets must be added as an amenity for an additional $20 fee.
5. You will be in nature and it is full of living things-furry, crawly and slithery. You may see deer, wild turkey, opossum, herons, and the occasional bald eagle. You might also encounter gnats, ticks, mosquitoes, spiders, snakes. Bring bug spray and check yourself for ticks every 4-6 hours.
6. A bundle of Firewood may be purchased onsite for $10. Do not attempt to remove any standing wood for fire wood.
7. No smoking in the tents. If you smoke outside, extinguish all butts and discard them in the provided container.
9. No Fireworks are are allowed
10.  Vehicles and RVs must be no longer than 24ft long in order to access the campsite. There are no hook-ups and no dumping of black or grey water tanks allowed. Unauthorized waste dumping will result in an additional fee.

The property is a modest 20 acre homestead located in Damascus, MD with 12 acres of woodland and a creek! Camping here also allows you access to the farm with friendly chickens, ducks, turkeys, pigs, cows, horses, sheep, goats, giant rabbits, cats, and dogs! If you enjoy farming, gardening, pastures, trees, creeks, natural springs, cabins or just hiding out in the woods; there's a great chance you will enjoy camping at our place. Pitch your tent anywhere in the woods or in a field or stay in the cabin equipped with a wood stove. We have trails wide enough to drive down so parking and set up is easy. Both campsites and RV sites are self contained. No electric or water hook ups and no restrooms yet (coming soon); so bring a composting unit if you wish.

The Garden

Pine Tree Associates was founded in 1934 and is one of the oldest operating family nudist clubs in the country. Pine Tree is a co-op club, owned and managed by and for the members.

The club is nestled in a tranquil ninety-six acre setting just minutes from downtown Annapolis, Maryland, and a short drive to Baltimore or Washington, D.C.  Although suburban sprawl is everywhere, Pine Tree remains in a relatively rural setting and is adjacent to the Bacon Ridge Natural Area, a passive recreation park of 1,000 acres in Anne Arundel County, Maryland.

Unlike many American Association for Nude Recreation (AANR) clubs, Pine Tree is open 365 days a year. In addition to a large outdoor pool, there is an indoor pool that’s open roughly from Labor Day through Memorial Day. The indoor pool is located in Keyes Hall, named for the founding family. Keyes Hall is also the location of sauna, hot tub and the exercise and game room.

Accommodations at Pine Tree include rental cabins, rental trailers, RV sites, and tent campsites. (Please call to make a reservation before visiting Pine Tree for the first time.)  The Pine Tree campground is a loop road, with sites on the inside and outside of the loop. The campground bathhouse or “Adam and Eve” is located in the center, making it easily accessible from any campsite. Greenbelt Park Campground

This is a 26-acre, start up Christmas tree farm in Huntingtown, MD, just 40 miles south of Washington DC. You'll find a swimming pool, canoe and kayak rentals, and a zip line for kids. There is firewood, fire pits, and an outdoor shower all for your enjoyment. This beautiful area calls for biking, swimming, paddling, horseback riding, fishing and much more! There are 6 sites on the property, with up to 12 guests per site.
