Falling Waters State Park features Falling Waters Sink, which is a 100-foot deep, 20-foot wide cylindrical pit into which flows a small stream that drops 73 feet to the bottom of the sink. The water's final destination remains unknown. Only a few miles south of I-10, the park provides travelers with a quiet, serene stop on their journey and is a great place for camping near Gainesville. Visitors can see beautiful native and migrating butterflies in the butterfly garden, take a dip in the lake or have a family picnic. Hikers can experience the verdant, gently sloping landscape of north Florida.

The Sand Pond Campground can be found at the Pine Log State Forest Recreation Area. All sites are fully equipped with electric and water hook-ups. Restrooms with showers and a sanitary dumping station are located on-site. The Sand Pond Group Camp is available for youth groups. There are two small picnic pavilion areas, fire rings and access to water. The area is near the restroom and shower facilities but separate from other camping. Primitive campsites are available and are dispersed along Pine Log Creek. Primitive campers are not entitled to use of restrooms or shower facilities. Eastbank Campground is located on Lake Seminole on the Georgia-Florida state line. The lake and surrounding area provide a variety of outdoor recreational opportunities for fishing, camping, boating, picnicking, hiking, biking and birding.
Lake Seminole is known as one of the best sites for sports fishing in America. Extensive stump and grass beds provide abundant cover where anglers fish for largemouth, hybrid, striped and white bass. Sizable populations of catfish, crappie and bream are also present. Over 79 species of fish have been identified in the lake. Boating, water skiing and swimming are popular activities. The campground offers a boat ramp, dock and a fish cleaning station.
Lake Seminole has a surface area of 37,500 acres with 376 miles of shoreline. A pine and hardwood forest covers the rolling hills around the lake. A variety of wildlife makes its home around Seminole Lake, including raccoons, alligators, ring-necked ducks, canvasbacks, scaup, hawks, bald eagles, black vultures, tortoises and snakes.
Change and Cancellation Policies and Fees Overnight and Day Use Facilities: To ensure fairness, reservation arrival or departure dates may not be changed beyond the booking window until 18 days after booking the reservation. Camping / Day Use: A $10.00 service fee will apply if you change or cancel your reservation (including campsites, cabins, lookouts, group facilities, etc.). The $10.00 service fee will be deducted from the refund amount. You can cancel or change reservations through Recreation.gov or by calling 1-877-444-6777. Late Cancellations Overnight and Day Use Facilities: Late cancellations are those cancelled between 12:01 a.m. (Eastern) on the day before arrival and check out time on the day after arrival. Individual Campsites: If a customer cancels a reservation the day before or on the day of arrival they will be charged a $10.00 service fee and will also forfeit the first night's use fee (not to exceed the total paid for the original reservation). Cancellations for a single night's reservation will forfeit the entire use fee but no cancellation fee will apply. Group Facility: If a customer cancels a group overnight facility reservation within 14 days of the scheduled arrival date they will be charged the $10.00 service fee and forfeit the first night's use fee. Cancellations for a single night's use will not be assessed a service fee. Group Day Use Area: If a customer cancels a group day use facility reservation within 14 days of the scheduled arrival date, they will forfeit the total day use fee with no service fee charge. No-Shows Camping / Day Use: A camping no-show customer is one who does not arrive at a campground and does not cancel the reservation by check-out time on the day after the scheduled arrival date. Reserved campsites and group overnight facilities will be held until check-out time on the day following your scheduled arrival. Group day-use facilities will be held until check-in time on your scheduled arrival date. If a customer does not arrive at the campground or group facility by check-out time the day after arrival or does not cancel the reservation by the times listed under "Late Cancellations" above, the customer may be assessed a $20.00 service fee and forfeit use fees. Refunds Customers must request refunds no later than 14 days after the scheduled departure date. Recreation.gov will not grant refund requests after 14 days of departure. Reservation Fee: For some facilities, tours or permits an additional reservation fee is charged. For some overnight and day-use facilities, an additional non-refundable reservation fee may apply. The non-refundable reservation fee for tours and tickets is $1.00. The non-refundable reservation fee for permits varies by location. Refunds for Bankcard Purchases: Refunds for bank card payments will be issued as a credit to the original bank card. Refunds for Check or Cash Purchases: Refunds for Recreation.gov payments made by check or money order, and cash payments at selected campgrounds will be issued a check refund. Located approximately 1.5 miles north of State Road 20 and accessed off Blue Springs Road North, the Blue Spring Recreation Area features an ADA-compliant ramp and stair access to the spring, an overlook deck of the spring vent, and a pedestrian bridge overlooking a separate karst feature on the site. Visitors can also use picnic pavilions, a pedestal grill, a fire ring, and portable toilet. Three individual campsites are available for use by reservation only. Day-use is allowed from 8 a.m. to Sunset. Please note: The Blue Spring camping area has been relocated and is accessed through the first entrance to the site on Blue Springs Road. The Day Use area is accessed through the second entrance on Blue Springs Road. Blue Spring is one of 11 springs or spring groups, comprised of at least 39 vents, located along the Econfina Creek basin. Blue Spring features three spring vents, and the combined flow classifies the group as a third magnitude spring (flow between 1 and 10 cubic feet per second). Flow from Blue Spring and the other springs along Econfina Creek ultimately discharge into Deer Point Lake, which is the primary source of drinking water for residents in Bay County. To help protect Econfina Creek and its contribution zone, the Northwest Florida Water Management District manages 41,334.18 acres of public lands in the Econfina Creek Water Management Area. (This acreage total includes the Sand Hill Lakes Mitigation Bank, also known as the Fitzhugh Carter Tract.)

We just stayed here for the weekend with our two kids and dog and it was so nice. We had a site right in front of the pond and it was not a long walk to the bathroom/shower area. Showers could have been a bit cleaner, but overall it was a nice stay. Wish they kayak rentals for the ponds. But it was still nice and quiet!

We were evacuated, hurricane Milton, and found this as the last place that had a place only four of the spots have electrical. It’s very very backwards, camping, huge mosquitoes, huge bugs, alligators in the lake, bear boxes and bear meat racks, the road to it is terrible very very bumpy like driving over a river. You need to be almost in an off-road SUV vehicle to get to it and it’s 2 miles… Once you get there it’s just downright scary! The only good thing that we found out out of this is that there is an unknown RV park 10 miles down the road off of Bristol called River Landing RV park because they’re not listed on any of the pages so far we didn’t find them. I truly believe that it is the soul of the RV Park that makes it wonderful. The owners and managers of this park are absolutely incredible. The most accommodating kindest, most friendly people I have ever run across in all of the travels I’ve done which is many and my RV! This place has not been on the map before it is new and it has only had about a month in operating at this location. I kind of accidentally ended up here when being evacuated from hurricane Milton in Clearwater and somebody else from another campground that turned out to be a bust suggested we go here because it was an unknown location. Well Joanie, the owner was packed, but she fit us in anyway she made a parking space she created a connection. She figured out how to get water to us and welcomed us with food and music. The park inside has tables and chairs and little beautiful hanging lights a big fire pit and a really nice bathhouse with laundry room… We were instantly welcomed and various churches brought over food to all the campers here who had been evacuated from their homes… the place is beautiful and clean and sits on the prettiest river the Apalachicola river. It’s pet friendly and lots of dogs and kids with a big bounce house for the kids to play on guys came over from churches with guitars and played music just a wonderful place to beif you’re on your way back down to Florida evacuating run don’t walk to this campground because there’s lots of space here that is unfilled at the moment just because she isn’t well known.

The campground was a really nice spot in the state park. Everyone was very friendly. The camp host went around to check on all new arrivals. We stayed in spot 13 and the circuit kept tripping. Both the camp host and ranger from the check in jumped right on the issue and let us use an adapter. Our spot was right on the river. There were places to sit and watch the alligators and boats. The bathrooms were very clean. We will definitely come back if we are in the area.
RangerThis campground is so pretty! I think we have the best spot because we’re in the shade for about half of the day. The lake is really pretty and relaxing to sit by. The bathhouses are a bit on the older side, I know funding is not there to do much. We have a big, beautiful tree behind out site that we sat under. There was a nice breeze coming off the lake and it was great (even though it’s 94° out). The camp host came over to us the next day after we arrived and gave us great info about things to do and see around here. That was so very nice! We rode our bikes to the dam and then to the park that’s on the other side of the bridge.
We do need to talk about that huge hill getting down to the campground. Holy moly. I’m from southern Florida and we don’t have those near us. 🤣 It was intimidating to say the least. lol
Yes, we use the showers at the campground because we have kids and we like to spread out in a shower. Plus we don’t want to fill up our tank, go dump and then hook back up. That’s our preference and that’s what we like to do.
LegendThis cg is a great small one. It has three small loops. We stayed in loop A. It’s basically on the water. Big spacious sites, 50 amp, and water. Very clean cg and camp hosts very friendly. Several roads coming in were very steep down, but manageable with our 38 ft coach. Some trees in loop A. Restroom very outdated, but one in loop C is better. We road our bikes to the dam. Great time! FREE LAUNDRY!

Site #1. May. No one else there. Pretty hot during the day - 90s and around 70 at night. But the spring is about a 5 min walk and one can swim whenever. Already made reservations for next year. Beautiful and quiet only 3 sites. Sites good size. Picnic pavilion is excellent.
LegendSmall, well maintained park and sites, with 30/50 amp and water hook ups. A pleasant surprise when we arrived, after miles of rural driving! GPS took us the correct way, but seemed we were lost! Staff greeted us at entrance, gave us a map and explained how to get to our site. It was raining, and our site was back-in and downhill, mostly level with gravel, a picnic table, has a fire-ring with grill grate. Bathhouse is clean and impressed how the trash area and dump station were placed away from campers. The dock/pier, and boat ramp, are at the back part of the campground, The amenities are nice and there is outdoor cleaning sink behind the bathhouse, sitting area overlooking the river, the fish cleaning station, fire pit area, trails, and canoe/kayak drying area. 3 concrete sites, as well as tent sites. Lots of spacing between most of the sites, some are waterfront. Wildlife is plentiful and the trails are a great way to enjoy it all! We will come back! And it’s only $20 a night!

Yet another great Florida State campground! Florida does it right when it comes to campgrounds, and Grayton is no exception. The beach is beautiful, fairly secluded and easily accessible. If you know where to look, (just north of the campground), there is access to a wide range of bike (mountain bike or e-bike) trails. Grab a fish taco right outside the park. Park itself is quiet and peaceful.

Camp sites have been renovated, all new gravel with railroad ties for retaining wall for the gravel. Sites are all 50/30 amp with water. Most of the sites are under shade. It is a small campground with only 20 spots and some are tight if you have a big rig, but there are pull throughs for the big rigs.
Staff was friendly and helpful.
Shower facilities were clean - at least mens.
I'd give it a 5 start but the dump station does not have the hose hookups for flushing your tanks, just draining. So be sure to fill up your gray tank to wash down he black excretions.
I'll return because it was enjoyable area.
