Live Oak Landing

Accessible by both car and boat, Live Oak Landing operates year-round on a dead-end road that keeps traffic minimal. The campground charges $60 per night and accepts reservations, with level RV sites offering full hookups including electric, water, and sewer connections. Sites lack privacy screens but provide adequate spacing between units.

The property sits alongside a creek bordered by live oak trees, where campers occasionally spot small alligators near the boat dock. Facilities include a swimming pool, pavilion, playground, and dog park, plus cabin rentals for those preferring indoor accommodations. The bathhouse draws consistent praise for cleanliness, though some reviewers note the limited number of shower facilities relative to the campground size. A recreation room and boat launch expand activity options.

"Park has a pool, nice pavilion with clean bathrooms and fully equipped cabins," reports Lisa D.. Staff provides trash pickup service and delivers firewood upon request. Each site includes a picnic table, fire pit, and grill. A small store and gas station sits just up the road for basic supplies.

The location places campers within a 15-20 minute drive of public beaches and roughly 30-45 minutes from both Destin and Panama City Beach. For additional camping choices in the region, explore campgrounds just outside Freeport. The setup works well for RV travelers seeking full hookups with water access and families wanting pool amenities.

Nice resort RV park

$60 per night. Don't usually stay at resort parks but not much else available last minute. Nice level pads with some space but no privacy or shade. Interspersed with cute cottages. Great bathhouse. Recreation room, boat launch, canoe rentals, laundry. They pick up your bagged trash and will deliver wood. Picnic table, fire pit, grill. Dog park onsite.

Tucked away from the hustle and bustle, but still conveineant

This campground is off the beaten path near Destin (about a 30 minute drive), but is still very convenient.  It's got all the amenities and then some. Cabin rental, ice, pool, fishing, boat dock, clean bathrooms, playground, etc.  There is a nice gas station/small store just up the road too.  It's on a dead end road, so there is little traffic.  Even saw a couple of small gators by the boat dock! Very nice place, would stay there again!

Above average RV park with paved lots and amenities.

Surrounding is beautiful and quiet with the live oak trees and creek. Off the beaten path and out of traffic but close (15-20 minute) drive to many public beaches. 45 minute drive to either Destin or PCB. Park has a pool, nice pavilion with clean bathrooms and fully equipped cabins. Cons are the price, non-functioning laundry, and too few bathrooms/showers. The “pontoon” to rent is a joke.
