Rock climbing with our van

Absolutely love this place! Rock climbing galore. There is an office to buy some supplies (and you will need to check in and pay there) I would suggest the climbing book they have for sale which has a map of all the routes and their rating. We took our ram Pro master. Steep and rocky to get down but very doable. Highly suggest one of our favorite places.

We took our two kiddos and they had a blast! Bathroom, camping, outdoor tables, roaming goats and horses.

This place is awesome!

Stopped in here on a recent family vacation through the Ozarks. The Outfitter store has everything you could need and more. The staff was very friendly. The canoe rates and shuttle rates were very fair and the food in the kitchen was delicious. Try the Sasquatch BLT!

It's Amazing!

The campsites are clean, well maintained and decent sized. The views of the bluffs are amazing. But the Elk….soooo majestic! The river running along the bluff makes for an almost trance-inducing sound as you awake to find a roaming herd of large beautiful elk in the campground with you. I have never seen anything like it.

This place is great

Easy parking, nice people, all the amenities you would need. Would 100% recommend.

Holy Buffalo!

Beautiful area. Gorgeous views and wildlife everywhere! Family is currently here for our annual Christmas Vacation.

Exploring the hidden road

This section of the National Forest offers two hours gravel road through the forest. Please do your homework because the road signs are lacking. Word of advice, best to stay away during hunting season as we spotted over ten deer hunters in the area in a single day; a hunting paradise as well. On the path offers hidden creek waterfalls, lots of one way bridge and a serenity drive.

Amazing campground! You have to book through their website!

I saw the reviewer that claims that they could not find the campground. You have to book your stay at this private campground through their website. They will then give you very detailed directions to their private property. It is one of the most beautiful spots in Arkansas. Highly recommend.

Loved this Park!

This has to be one of my favorite campgrounds. So scenic and beautiful (even in November). Lots of trails to explore, a visitor's center, during non-pandemic times they have a swimming pool, store, and restaurant by the little lake. Love all the CCC history! The cleanest shower house I've been to in quite some time. We stayed in Camp loop A, basic sites. We were right by Lee Creek, so we enjoyed "babbling brook" sounds all night! The spots are spacious and well-shaded, and offer a level gravel tent pad at each site. The ONLY suggestion I can make is to bring a small shovel to clean out the fire rings, because ours looked like it hadn't been cleaned all season. Six inches of wet ash isn't conducive for building a nice campfire.

Camping with history

This wasn’t the first visit to Devil’s Den but it was the first time camping there. The campsites in the basic loop are well positioned and spacious. The shower house is probably the nicest and cleanest one we’ve come across this year. If you are looking to disconnect from the modern world, then this is the place. No WiFi or cell service in the campsite but there is free WiFi up the road at the visitor center. The visitor center is staffed by very knowledgeable and friendly staff. They sell everything from snacks, patches, t shirts to firewood. The many trails are clearly marked and range in distance from a quarter mile to fifteen miles. The trails are easy to moderate, with some amazing sites along the way. The park was built in the 1930s by the CCC and many of the structures are still in use today. You can also see evidence of the lifestyle these young men had while building the park. This is one campground we will definitely be returning to in the future.
