Great, except for the horseflies

This place is an amazing bargain. For just $15 a night, you get nice, big, secluded campsites, a large bathroom with running water, flushing toilets, and showers, and an awesome swimming hole. Drinking water is available at spigots near the swimming hole.

Luxuries in the Ozark NF

Stayed here for two nights over New Year's Eve. Campground had only 3 spaces occupied the first night, and we had it all to ourselves the actual night of NYE. To be fair, it was raining and cold weather was projected to move in.  However, several campsites did not appear to have been occupied at…

Well maintained campsite

We were in site one. Check-in was easy except all the signs said reserved-but i don’t think they take reservations. Bathrooms were fine and trash bins were handy.

Directions

From Ozark, AR, take State Rt. 23 north for 16.2 miles to campground sign (just past Cass, AR). Turn right at sign and go 2.8 miles to campground sign (Forest Rt. 1003-N). Turn right onto Rt. 1003-N and proceed to campground
