We are a family owned and operated RV Park with FULL HOOK US and 6 acres of wooded hillside! It's very quite, we only have two sites, and we welcome long stays. Also take advantage of our LAUNDRY ROOM and full bathroom in the office!

Back your recreational vehicle into one of our two sites. Our gravel pads are fairly level and will not puddle in the rain. Both of our sites have 20Amp or 30Amp outlets, a well-water spigot, and a SEWER PORT!

Pets are allowed, however you are responsible for keeping them out of the street as there is no fence up yet. You are also welcome to hike the wooded hillside on the property and experience the view from the top of the picturesque Illinois River valley. Bring a hammock and string it up in the trees or bring some yard games to play in the grassy area! We are just a 10 min drive from multiple restaurants, Walmart, gas stations and hardware stores. And if you need anything don't hesitate to ask!

Things to do… Definitely bring your mountain bike as there are countless trails in the NWA area, including some quality trails right in Siloam Springs! There are two Frisbee golf courses in town so you'll want to pack your discs. The Kayak Park on the Illinois River is only a 5 minute drive if you have a kayak or just an inner tube to float the rapids. It's also a great place to kick back on the natural gravel bars and catch some sun or go swimming! You can also float the river if you want! Gypsy Camp and Canoe rentals is a great place to start that adventure. Lincoln Lake is a great place to break out the rock climbing gear and climb - routes are already set up for lead climbing and top roping. And that's just scratching the surface of all there is to do in the area!

Blowing Springs RV Park & Campsites

    Great location for cyclists

My wife and I love cycling on the trails in and around Bentonville. Blowing Springs RV park in Bell Vista is at the North end of the 44 mile paved trail that passes by Crystal Bridges, down town Bentonville and beyond. The RV park is also the trailhead to several miles of mountain bike dirt trails. All these trails are good hiking trails also. The RV sites are level but not much space between them. I would recommend sites 4, 6 or 38 when summer camping. These sites have more shade. The sites are back in sites with full hookups. They offer a Good Sam discount and the campground is usually full especially on weekends.

    Amazing sunsets!

90 RV sites, 87 full hook up sites, 3 power/water. Sites are level gravel, some sites are over 80’ long! Buddy sites available. Easy access to Downtown Eureka Springs via the trolley system. There is a trolley stop onsite. Very clean bathrooms, showers, and laundry. The park is very well kept. The staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommend Wanderlust RV Park and Cabins

    Garden RV Kampgrounds

    Not a Tent Campsite

When traveling to the Pea Ridge Battlefield I was given the name of this campground by someone in the area to check to see if it accommodated tent campers, they didn't know. I found out in fact they do not! Not only that but they really don't cater to the short term camper, most of the people staying are long term campers.

With that being said, the campground itself has very nice people running it. The office staff was helpful with some information about the area despite not being set up for a camper like myself.

I wouldn't probably advise this RV park itself because it looked like it was in need of an overhaul or some regulations put in place for long term campers to make it have a bit more curb appeal to those passing through.

It was very close to the battlefield itself however.

    Cape Fair

    Great Corps of Engineers campground

Nestled on one of the best lakes in Missouri is this clean, family campground. Fairly level sites with quite a few lake sites. Nice boat ramp and swim area. Clean shower houses well located around the camping areas. Only complaint I could find with this location is trying to book an open spot and no full hook up. Loved this camp ground and will come back again.

Gopher Valley - Twin Bridges — Grand Lake State Park

    Pleasant RV/Tent campground

Gopher Valley campground in on of several campground in the Twin Bridges area of Grand Lake State Park.  This campground is fully paved with both full hook up RV camping area, tent camping area and areas that work for both.  Campground have drive through and pull in sites.  Sites all have picnic tables and metal fire rings.  Campground has a large pavilion which can be rented.  The pavilion has a huge BBQ grill.  Campground has a small playground for the kids.  Small restroom with showers is available.  With the exception of the RV pull through sites all the other sites have plenty of grass to set up a tent.  Sites can be reserved.

    Close to lake, little shade

This is a great RV resort close to the water but with very little shade. It is right across the street from Tera Miranda that has a cool restaurant on the water though. There are park models and group houses as well as RV pads. Nice central location on Monkey Island.

    Southgate RV Park of Fayetteville

    Convenient to HWY 49

This campground is just okay. The sites are full hookup on level gravel. Most sites are out in the open with very little shade. There seems to be several permanent campers but not like a trailer park. We really like it because it is very close to the Razorback paved trail starting at mile 0 of more than 40 miles of excellent trails and near Arkansas University.

Our timing for our second stay was more expensive.  Usually rates are $38 nightly and $34 for Good Sam's members however; there are special event weekends where the rate is $50 for the weekend.  This weekend is graduation weekend so the lot was full.  Another note is that the WIFI here is very weak and it comes and goes.

    SUV Camping

I have a mostly stock 4Runner. We were able to drive it around on a lot of very light off-road trails. There were many more intense off-road options and challenges though. They have RV hookups there and plenty of places to park and vehicle-camp or to set up a tent. Trails were $35 a day and camping was $15 per person per night.

    Withrow Springs State Park Campground

    Small and cozy

This is a small park, but it does have a bit of everything - RV hookups, walk-in sites, trails, and play ground for kids. Unfortunately the road (AR 23 spur) goes right next to camp sites and there is traffic all night long. Also, the tent pads are just a bit small - our Coleman Montana 8 just barely fit. However, the bathrooms and showers were very clean and well maintained.

    Monte Ne RV Park

Friendly Staff Will Make You Wanna Come Back

When I came here I had but one reason to check out this area, the abandoned once amazing Monte Ne.  As a bit of a novice urban explorer I was intrigued by the history of this once giant which featured the first indoor swimming pool in the state, hosted a presidential function, boasted a gondola to ferry those visiting the facilities and was a part of a man’s manifesto of greatness.  Then it fell to hard times and eventually to ruin much like so many other locations.

So what makes this area so intriguing?  The ruin is now being slowly swallowed by Beaver Lake and the once grandiose walls are now somewhat of an embraced location for street art.

Rogers has several locations you can camp, but this is the closest to the site itself.  I was excited to check it out and as I drifted further and further away from the Rogers city it started to look more and more remote.  While there were some homes which scattered along the roadsides there wasn’t much in way of civilization.

Then I happened upon my location of the Monte Ne RV Park, a quaint and secluded space which embraces the peaceful location of Beaver Lake and makes for a perfect idealist setting for relaxing. While it isn’t the most updated campsite I had seen it by far was not the worst and the staff in the front more than made up for any short comings of some weary benches here and there.

The typical person staying here while traveling is enjoying hiking and fishing along with boating and other outdoor based activities.  It was a perfect location for access to the lake and though there were several people there, it didn’t seem crowded because the spaces are nice sized.  There are more than a few long term campers here as well and much like any campsite which allows long term camping you can tell the difference in the residence spaces as they have skirtings on their RVs and plants outdoors.

I was able to find a tent site and settled in and was very pleased that it was very quiet.  I met a couple that was also traveling and had been there a couple nights and they had said they had been out exploring a bit in the area and were quite pleased, even made a couple suggestions for me for my time at the location.

My site was typical in that it had a picnic table and fire ring.  It did include electricity, which typically I am not concerned with but it was nice to have so I could charge my devices and edit some video.

Closer to nightfall I noticed several people were outdoors using their grills and moving around because the temperatures were a bit better.  It was nice to see the community I was around and again the staff came around to check on everyone which was a very nice touch.

    The positives of this campground:

    • TENT, RV and CABIN options

    • Shady sites - on hot days this can make all the difference

    • Friendly Staff

    • Free WIFI

    • AT&T Good Signal

    The negatives of this campground:

    • Slightly outdated, needs some paint and some upgrades on some tables and benches

    • Trash - unfortunately when I drove in I noticed trash as one of the first things I saw, this looked like it had been tossed by people coming in and out instead of using trashcans

    • Bumpy Road

Well worth the stop to get to be so close to checking out Monte Ne.  If I was to return to Beaver Lake this would for sure be on my list again!!

    Just pretty close to perfect

‘‘This Campground has sections. The one group is the (Sentury) Indian, and the second loop is the Eagle Point Fox loop. We were at the Sentry loop. We liked site 71 in that loop. It offered the most space and was a full hook up. That is one of the best things about this campground. Several full hookups. Boat ramp was nice. Not great but ok for kayaking. Nice swim beach. Campground host we met was not very friendly or helpful.

    Camper-submitted photo from Kettle Campground

    Kettle Campground

Older campground with small improvements for overnight or long term stay

When coming to Eureka Springs there are a lot of accommodation options. Best known for their many bed and breakfast options and historic hotels, many tend to gravitate toward those options. However, like always, I was looking for something for those seeking a tent option. I was not supposed to notice more than a few popped up in this destination. I settled on Kettle Campground, a camp which has been a staple in Eureka Springs for years and actually used to be the location my family camped when I was younger.

Upon arriving to Kettle around 5 p.m. offices were closed already for the day, but a board outside the office displayed openings for the evenings alongside camp maps and rules. I found a tent site in the primitive area and made my way to it along gravel roadways.

I noticed a lot of long term campers in RVs at this location alongside overnighters, both options which are made available to those requiring full hook ups. As I neared the tent area I was the only one, coming mid week impacted this I am sure but it made for a quite and pleasant stay on the grounds

Small branches abounded for starter wood for fires and firewood was being sold at the front entrance as well for campfires. As I cleared away small twigs from my tent pad area I noticed the ground was soft enough for my tent stakes yet still a bit rocky.

It was indeed a primitive site in feeling in that it wasn't as even as the rv of hook up sites for tents. The terrain was a bit more rugged and the parking was a bit questionable had I have been there with others as it did not have an exact marked spot.

After assembling my tent, I did a quick walk through of the facilities which included a laundry area, bathhouse, pavilion, pool and recreational area. Many improvements had been made since my younger years camping here. Overall the sites were clean as I walked around. I did notice someone had left the bathhouse women's door open and in going in it appeared a few bugs had come in the night before as bugs do when they see light. Nothing scary or uncommon for a campground but I tend to be a little mindful of other things which could find their way in as well when I notice this, though it appeared all good.

I elected to swim in the pool which has opening hours during daylight. I was undisturbed when doing so by any other campers and despite the pool having highway frontage it did not appear loud.

The next morning when I woke I made it to the office to pay for my site and office staff was incredibly friendly and informative. I noticed a variety of services were available in the office including wifi, trolly tickets and movie rentals.

    🐰🐰🐰⚪️⚪️

All in all I give this campground 3 of 5 Bunnies. The main reason for the drop in rating was the campsites being unmarked making it hard to determine parking and actual camp boundaries for tent campers. In addition, the roadway in and out of the tent area was a bit washed out and so it made for a very off road feel versus the other roads throughout being more even, almost as though the single road was an afterthought on maintenance because they do not host as many tent campers.

The overall improvements to the camp were amazing to see and I hope in the future the small

Improvements to the tent area can be attained to create a perfect camping experience for tent campers like myself. The staff made my stay very pleasant and relaxed and the overall experience was a positive one.

    Battlefield Inn & RV Park

    Not a tent place

It was rather upsetting to find out that both the recommended sites were not really accommodating to tent campers in this area. Right next to the battlefield this location has very few RV sites, however it was a bit of an upgrade from the other nearby site in way of those passing through. I noticed that the area was more designed for those traveling rather than just the long term campers.

Very close to the battlefield so I would probably recommend this site if you are passing through in an RV and want to spend the night. There is not much else to do in the immediate area however so if you aren't absolutely exhausted try to make it to Rogers nearby.

    TIPS:

    • If stopping here remember your America The Beautiful Pass grants you free admission to the battlefield.

    Bikers paradise

This is your basic parking lot campground. Your site is all cement with full hook ups and a picnic table. No green areas to call your own, BUT you have incredible instant access to the trailhead of many singletrack bike and hiking trails. Modern bathrooms and area is very clean and supportive staff. You camp here for the access and not the amenities.

    Very Peaceful

Spacious and peaceful sites.  The loop we stayed in had full hook ups at each site and 2 very well maintained bathrooms with showers.

The creek was right behind us and there is a pond for paddle boats or paddle boarding.  The pool (we didn't use) looked d to be very nice also.  Plenty of easy access to many different hikes, none of which are too difficult.

    Great

Great park with beautiful trails, caves, a plethora of wildlife, and lots of CCC history. This park offers everything from primitive, hike-in camping to cabins and everything in between (including a full hook-up area). Park also has a pool. Remember, if pulling a camper, take exit 53, do NOT go through Winslow. The road is beautiful but VERY curvy and steep. Lots to do and see. A must.

    Nice enough

Clean and well maintained KOA. Friendly personnel. Shaded, pull thru sites as well as back-ins, cabins, and tent sites. Sites are very level with crushed stone pads. Good water pressure. Lots of grass. Patio sites are available. Internet is poor, as typical of most RV parks. Cable tv with about 30 channels. Good stopover park.

Cherokee Area — Grand Lake State Park

Relaxing Place to Camp and Get Away

We camped here in the fall and were pleasantly surprised with all the pecans we gathered. It's secluded and quiet with views of the Grand River and Neosho River. Wheelchair Friendly. Roads were paved. If you gold a golf course is just down the street. We walked up to the golf course and stopped for a snack on the way to check out the more primitive campsite across the bridge.

There are 50 amp full hook up pullthroughs. We woke up to deer out our window. No playground but great nature walks around the area.

    Prairie Creek (AR)

Prairie Creek is a large campground on Beaver Lake

Prairie Creek is not as nice as Lost Bridge. It is a large campground maintained by the Corps of Engineers. There is a lot to do if you are a family and like to spend time on the lake. There are nice recreational areas with play equipment, pavilions and beach volley ball. There is an area for swimming as well.

The bathrooms could use some updating and the campground seems better built for Camper Trailers and RVs than it does for tents. A lot of the sites slope making it hard to find level ground.

It is well maintained and fairly busy.
