ScoutFirst time at the location but invited a couple of ladies for the adventure. Got to location but were not given any instructions. Before the end, the host started beating on the door stating others were there for the same location. Lack of communication ruined the experience and cause embarrassment. They should update website. Most of information is outdated and or incorrect. Temperature of water close to 70 degrees not 100 as quoted on site..I wouldn't spend anymore money there. The guy, Tello was pleasant but couldn't make up for the lady with the bad attitude.

GuideIt's March 2nd... No flies at this time. Stayed within 500 yards on turn-in. Found nice flat wide open clean spot. Other campers have driven further up toward the mountain... so can't comment on that area. A little road noise but not bad at all. Won't need ear plugs to sleep. Sunset was gorgeous. No noise from other campers. Coming from Joshua Tree headed into Phoenix. Glad I stopped here for the night No amenities but price (free) is nice Might stay again on return trip.

TravelerI’ve tried to camp out here 3 times now and it is utterly ridiculous the amount of people in loud trucks, and side by sides blaring loud music. Tons of people drinking and shooting guns all the way in to the 2-3am hours of the night. I do not recommend anything about this spot if you’re looking for a peaceful quiet stay. Nothing like being woke up at midnight because you’re surrounded by people drinking and being loud shooting guns 20 feet from your vehicle.
