    Geneva State Lake

    Beautiful and secluded

Note - I drive a 20’ van - so non level is ok for me but these sites were not level - but I spent 2 nights sat/sun - and it was gorgeous especially for sunrise. Wish I could have stayed longer but I didn’t want to get stuck there in the rain - it was about 5 miles of dirt roads to get in there and they were well maintained but I didn’t want to risk it.

There are 2 hiking trails - more like atv trails that go to either side of the lake from the campground. You can go further into the forest but it was deer hunting season so I didn’t explore.

It was so peaceful and the sunrises over the lake were breathtaking.

$5 a day and there is a QR code on the board to pay, or you can by an annual pass for $40 if you plan on staying at least 9 days it’s worth it. It doesn’t hold your place on the form unless you create an account which is why the dyrt link doesn’t work.

Overall if I’m passing through again I would go back.

Also appreciated the free trash cleanup, clean porta potties and picnic tables. No fire rings really but you can tell where people burn campfires.

It’s a well maintained park and you can tell a lot of love has gone into it. Even had a ranger come through!

    Great full moon experience

Very pleasant with a lakeside view. Our site didn’t have any shade but the adjoining site, with friends, had plenty. Sites were absolutely level with gravel. Plenty of room between and little noise. The only drawback was that the bathrooms were up and over the hill and road. But they were clean. Boat ramp is just down the road. If you want to bike, be warned that this area of Georgia/Florida has hills! Finally, it is in the eastern time zone with the dividing line in the middle of the lake.

Beautiful park to camp next to the lake with 2 fishing docks. No bathrooms just port a potty. The camping price is $2 per night, no reservation is needed, and is online payment.

    Blue Springs in July '

We camped here recently as a large family group. While our camping space could barely be called that, the park was quite nice. It was clean and well maintained, the bath house was clean, and there was lots of room for the grandkids to play and ride bikes. The springs area was shady, and the springs themselves were awesome (if you can stand the verrry cold water). The customer service was great.

    Over night stop

The campground was a really nice spot in the state park. Everyone was very friendly. The camp host went around to check on all new arrivals. We stayed in spot 13 and the circuit kept tripping. Both the camp host and ranger from the check in jumped right on the issue and let us use an adapter. Our spot was right on the river. There were places to sit and watch the alligators and boats. The bathrooms were very clean. We will definitely come back if we are in the area.

    Very nice

This campground is so pretty! I think we have the best spot because we’re in the shade for about half of the day. The lake is really pretty and relaxing to sit by. The bathhouses are a bit on the older side, I know funding is not there to do much. We have a big, beautiful tree behind out site that we sat under. There was a nice breeze coming off the lake and it was great (even though it’s 94° out). The camp host came over to us the next day after we arrived and gave us great info about things to do and see around here. That was so very nice! We rode our bikes to the dam and then to the park that’s on the other side of the bridge.

We do need to talk about that huge hill getting down to the campground. Holy moly. I’m from southern Florida and we don’t have those near us. 🤣 It was intimidating to say the least. lol

Yes, we use the showers at the campground because we have kids and we like to spread out in a shower. Plus we don’t want to fill up our tank, go dump and then hook back up. That’s our preference and that’s what we like to do.

    Peaceful

This cg is a great small one. It has three small loops. We stayed in loop A. It’s basically on the water. Big spacious sites, 50 amp, and water. Very clean cg and camp hosts very friendly. Several roads coming in were very steep down, but manageable with our 38 ft coach. Some trees in loop A. Restroom very outdated, but one in loop C is better. We road our bikes to the dam. Great time! FREE LAUNDRY!

    This is an Amazing KOA

FHU, paved and level sights, clean and updated bathhouse and clean pool, playground, dogpark, koi pond, horseshoes, cute general store with necessities and souvenirs, propane refill and firewood! Has a quaint pond, with a bridge, and displays colorful lights at night. The Owner, Lori, showed us to our spot, and made sure we had everything we needed and gave us info on local shops and parks. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. We have been to this KOA 3 times now, and can’t wait to go back!

    A Great Florida State Park

Small, well maintained park and sites, with 30/50 amp and water hook ups. A pleasant surprise when we arrived, after miles of rural driving! GPS took us the correct way, but seemed we were lost! Staff greeted us at entrance, gave us a map and explained how to get to our site. It was raining, and our site was back-in and downhill, mostly level with gravel, a picnic table, has a fire-ring with grill grate. Bathhouse is clean and impressed how the trash area and dump station were placed away from campers. The dock/pier, and boat ramp, are at the back part of the campground, The amenities are nice and there is outdoor cleaning sink behind the bathhouse, sitting area overlooking the river, the fish cleaning station, fire pit area, trails, and canoe/kayak drying area. 3 concrete sites, as well as tent sites. Lots of spacing between most of the sites, some are waterfront. Wildlife is plentiful and the trails are a great way to enjoy it all! We will come back! And it’s only $20 a night!

Nice, very quiet, heavily wooded CG

We have a 36 ft Class A with a Cherokee Trailhawk tow and stayed in site 27 for 2 days in late April. The CG itself is clean, well maintained, but some of the facilities are showing their age and are in need of repair. The CG roads are paved, as are the sites. The site pads themselves are concrete and most looked to be pretty level. Most of the sites were fairly well spaced. The CG, at least during the week, was very quiet and peaceful. There were only about a dozen campers while we were there.   Other reviews mentioned ant issues, but we did not encounter any issues.

AT&T coverage was weak, with 1 bar of LTE service w/o a booster and speeds up to 0.5 MB/s and 2 bars of 5G service and speeds up to 0.7 MB/s with a booster. The CG heavily wooded, so we had no line-of-site to the DISH satellites, but did have a partial view to the NE from the front of the site, so Starlink was somewhat usable, with a quite a few dropouts, but speeds up to 6 MB/s.

    Swimming area

The campground for the most part is beautiful period there are a few pull through camp sites that can be difficult with a long trailer. It seems to be quite a few small bugs around here. But I haven't got bitten yet so I didn't think they are the biting kind. The only major complaint I would have is that restrooms aren't kept very clean.

    Cheap w/ Passport America

Pros: quiet, level site, full hookups that all functioned, friendly work campers.

Cons: Very dated facilities in need of updates. Rec room is a "wreck." There are signs of patchwork repair and stalled projects everywhere. Very few services or businesses within 20 miles.

ATT IS GREAT! I did not try the wifi. I did not check out the laundry or exercise room.

    Nice and quiet

Sweet on and off 231 all paved pull through sites. Catch and release pond, camp store, propane, showers, laundry, close to restaurants. Everyone is escorted to their site by the wonderful owner and her staff.

    Three Rivers State Park Campground

    Nice quiet spot

Very quiet. Camp hosts are great. Though the campsites are moderately spaced, they are spacious within themselves for maneuvering. No WiFi; AT&T was 1 or 2 bars. Couple of tips: (1) sites 23, 24, and 25 have concrete slabs, the rest are gravel; and (2) sites 02 and 03 are at the low end of the campground and receive drainage from a culvert. There is a hefty drainage ditch that could carry water away, and we had no problem at site 02 even though it rained all night, but still something to keep in mind if you’re visiting during or after after a deluge.

    Awesome!

Beautiful campground. Many waterfront site, mostly all spacious and relatively flat. Be aware though that the crushed gravel pad base can allow your jacks to settle too far down. We have snap pads but even these sank to the point that one of our jacks had to be dug out. Had to use a Mobil Mechanic. Otherwise, beautiful, peaceful, view of the dam and lake outside our windows. Large level grassy areas with great shade trees. Some sites, like ours, would be great for solar…others had good shade. Amazingly very few bugs, and an almost constant breeze.

    Kelly Creek RV Park

    Fantastic overnight stop

I give this park a 5 star because it's easy, quiet, not crowded, great WIFI and the owners are here and hands on. We called ahead and the owner just said pull in a pick the spot you like then you can pay with a cc or cash. The end spots are $35 plus tax a night, the other sites are $40 with a patio and outdoor wrought iron tables and chairs. Sites are very big and there was lots of space. We took the dogs for a walk down along the creek, through some nice woods and a meadow, it was a nice walk. They even have a catch and release pond. Laundromat and private bathrooms were very clean too. Its also a mile off the hwy so it's so quiet. We will make this our go to traveling through ozark/Dothan Alabama

Great value for money with a spring on the doorstep.

4 RV sites with water and electricity(30/50 amp) hookups(no sewer). Showers and toilets are very close and clean and well maintained.
The family staff is incredibly nice and helpful.
Internet is fantastic, both their Wi-Fi and our Starlink.
    Thumbs up.
