    On The Rocks Family Kampground

    Do not recommend

Check yourself in and don’t expect to be welcomed by staff. Restrooms are filthy. Office, restaurant and bar only open Thursday through Saturday. When we messaged to ask when the restrooms will be cleaned, it took 2 days and a phone call to respond. Of you like customer service and clean facilities, this is not for you. There are more campgrounds to choose from in the area.

    Fremont RV Campground

    Overpriced

We stayed here for a night to visit Union Farm Cheese Factory. The campground was expensive at 80$ for water and electric only on a dirt pull through. The bathroom weren’t very clean either. Lots of full timers. The cheese factory was worth the stop and a great experience but this campground wasn’t the best for the price.

    Bay Shore Park

    Clean and Quiet

Everything was very clean and even with the campground full it was nice and quiet. The spots are beautiful and shaded. Rain does cause many of the spots to flood.

    Hartman Creek State Park Campground

    Good spot

Pretty full, but also pretty quiet place. Clean bathrooms with showers. Most sites don’t have hookups. There’s an upcharge for out-of-staters. Easy access to trails, lakes, and a short jaunt to beautiful downtown Waupaca. Would stay again!

    pioneer park

    Buggy and Noisy

You’re right next to the highway and the area is covered in mosquitos. Easy access and large site, but I wouldn’t stop here unless you have to.

    Apple Creek Campground

    Adaqaute place to stay.

We stayed 6 nights in our 36 fr motor home with tow. Even though we were on a hill the campsight was level. We had plenty of room for rv and tow. The main campground ( and amenities) were down the hill a bit. We liked being on the hill away from the pool ect. Quite except for a little hiway noise(about like you’d expect) good water pressure and power worked great.
