What a gem!

Last minute call and they had opening for us. Great camp site, wonderful bar and food. There is also an outdoor bar area w yummy slushy drinks and games. The pool was fun. We will be back.

Small but nice

Small campground But nicely maintained. The sides are a little close to together and our gravel. We had to use boards to level our rig. There’s a swimming pool and a store and two bath houses. The lawn is cared for and there are flowers everywhere. Trash receptacles are close to the campsites and…

Gorgeous dispersed lakeside camping

Loved our time at East Lake Arbutus. A warm shallow lake for swimming and boating, dog friendly, safe for kids. Lots of electric sites, but no sites with water or sewer so Sunday checkout there’s a line of campers waiting to dump. There are showers, but it costs $0.50 for 4 minutes. We really like…

Great one night camping spot

The highway is there and the night train schedule was 22:45 03:10 and 03:15. There are plenty of washrooms. Fire wood is sold at the camp ground entrance. $5 a bundle, cash or check. The swim spot is refreshing and not rocky. Our site was audible isolated from the other sites. Good luck and have…

Oakdale KOA for 1 week

We stayed here in July, the park stayed pretty busy with the location so close to the highway, but didn't feel crowded at all. The highway noise isn't great, but I expected that coming in here. Great facilities here and very friendly staff.

Great value as a TT member

This campground came to us through Thousand Trails Collection.  At first we only had a W/E site and later was able to move to a full hook up site.  All sites has a gravel pad with a grass yard, fire ring, and picnic table.  The fire rings are sunk completely into the ground for some reason.  The…

Bring the Bugspray

As expected, bugs are an issue in this woodsy campground.  Bathrooms had several issues but they were being addressed as we were there (ie broken sink).  There's some hiking trails and nice overlook of the Mississippi River.  Longish gravel road to get there, no sign of camp host.

A small campground with a big heart

Just off 91. My family got an easy pull through site. We upgraded with a patio site that included a nice round patio table with 4 padded chairs, a gas grill, and 2 Adirondack chairs. Very nice for a quick night’s stay when you don’t want to take everything out. It was more comfortable than a picnic…

I love sidie hollow!

Beautiful campground right by a stream that empties into a huge lake. You can trout fish, kayak, and hike. Not too far from town

Trains and Drag Racing on the river

Site 9 would be a great site for your inner train enthusiast being close to the tracks with trains running regularly to frequently. And on Friday nights, the local drag strip isn’t too far out of ear shot to keep you from missing any of the action. Otherwise it’s a nice clean standard campground…

Pretty Solid

Clean campground. Randy was great. Amenities were solid. Shuttle service is nice but I felt a little mislead after our phone conversation compared to what happened.
We’ll go back

Awesome spot

It was a great campground. The fishing was tricky but there were tons of trout and suckers to get if you wanted them. The hiking was amazing. The swimming beach was good for the kids. They caught tadpoles galore. Another huge perk to this place is that phones don’t work. People have to actually…

Hidden Gem

This is a nice hidden little privately owned campground. The host, Randy is super nice and helpful with whatever you need. There is also the bar/store where you can get refreshments and food. Try to get a site closest to the bluff for the best experience!

Great time

What a great campground for a county park. You name it they have it. Like fishing or boating they have it. Like utv they have it. They have good bathrooms lot of them or not just pit. They also have a few with showers. And the hole beach is sandy. They have ice and wood available. A nice playground…

A gem!

Lovely county park with lots of campsites. Office staff is super friendly. Our site is right on the water... so calm and peaceful. Family friendly. Nice and clean. We saw the sheriff’s deputy drive through a number of times at night. Good to see them just making sure no one was causing any…
