    Lakeside RV Campground

Cute RV park close to lake Utah

This place is very cute for established camping. It has lots of trees and a nice little walking trail. They are pet friendly. They have men's and women's restrooms with showers. They also have a pool for the warmer months. There are 2 small dog parks one for large and one for small dogs. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.

We stayed in a back in spot which was very spacious and we had a good distance from our neighbor.

They have designated tent camping area. If you are tent camping they do not allow you to have pets.

Only downside is you are directly next to the Provo airport which did get active around 6 am.

    Diamond Fork

    Lovely weekend

From I-15, take exit 258 and turn east toward Spanish Fork Canyon. Continue up Spanish Fork Canyon for about 9 miles to Forest Road 029/Diamond Fork Canyon. Turn left into Diamond Fork Canyon and travel 6 miles northeast to campground. We walked up the creek and across the road to explore the Red Ledges. Discovered the cool arch. This campground is very kid friendly. There are painted bear tracks that tell a story in and around the two loops of the park. The river is nice, with fun fishing holes. Be sure to wear big repellent. Loop B isn't as shady as loop A. Dog friendly, our husky enjoyed hunting mice and watching birds. Fifth Water Springs was closed and blocked off due to COVID-19, so be sure to check before you go if that is on your agenda.

    Skyline Drive

    Roadside Oasis

This is down a little dirt road near the Ghost town remnants of Tucker, Utah. There is a cute little creek, plenty of places to pull into to camp, and lots of neat rock formations to observe. We stayed 2 nights, and after dusk, the noise was minimal. You can hear some traffic noise from the highway, but it's faint. Be sure to mind the signs posted for private property. It seems as though some people have left their trash behind, and it's very unfortunate because this is by far the best spot we found on this HWY near Spanish Fork. Pack in and pack out is a must as there are no amenities other than nature's amenities. I found a few fossils in my wandering of our site. Some spots by the creek have been washed out, and the ground seems to have given way, so be mindful of where you park. The spot we stayed in was the 3rd spot after the private property signs on the left-hand side. Be sure to scout the turn-off roads before attempting to drive down them. This is a sandy spot, and the ground is not the most sound due to water damage. Cool little spot to unwind and enjoy nature's surroundings.

    Hobble Right Fork Dispersed

    Amazing view

A great view of both Spanish Fork and Provo peaks. There are a few places to go behind growth for more privacy if desired. There is a small fire pit closer to the back. It is at a fairly high elevation so nights will be cold.

Madsen Bay Campground — Scofield State Park

    Great fishing and beautiful area

It is a bit of a drive up Spanish Fork Canyon but it is a beautiful campsite with great fishing. We caught crawfish, and really good size brown and rainbow trout!

    Skyline Drive

    1st sites are the best

The first review on this campsite is fantastic! The directions take you right to the camping location. There are sites lining the river that can fit RVs. The dirt road is well maintained. It up Spanish fork canyon, and due to that the temperatures get quite cold at night, especially in the fall/winter.

    Springville / Provo KOA Holiday

This campground is convenient to the things that we wanted.

We have a daughter that lives in Spanish Fork and this is very convenient for her to come see us and bring her children to play in the pool and the recreation hall. Everything is clean and complete. Even the kitchen is clean and large in the hall
