Very quiet and secluded

Arrived very late. Very easy to find. Directions brought us right to the location. Road was rough into the sites and were hard to determine specific sites. Ended up pulling into edge of field. Definitely a good quiet night's sleep

Nice free spot near Salt Lake City

Easy drive into the area, paved road up until you turn down toward the lake. Nice gravel road for the next half mile. 6 other RVs here when I stopped on June 20th.

A little loud from the generators but sound of waves from the lake help drown it out.

Some established fire pits. Overall the place was clean and felt safe.

Don't Look the Gift Horse in the Mouth

This is a beautiful lakeside camp site ruined by people who dump their trash on the side of camp and throw glass bottles everywhere. It might not be bad if you're secluded inside a plush RV, but it's definitely not a place you walk around with kids.

There are plenty of camp sites here so it's best to have an off-road capable vehicle that will take you away from most of the mess. The trails look like hard and rocky, but it's soft dirt so be careful of getting stuck in places with deep muddy ruts.

On a Tuesday night in October, it was nice and quiet. No bugs or high winds, although I'd recommend checking the weather forecast beforehand. There's nothing to protect you from the wind here.

Windy Dirty Dusty

This place has so much potential. The general public has almost ruined it by littering and not policing their sites before leaving. Many vehicles in and out just joyriding and sightseeing. Stickers and cuckleburs are everywhere. The beach is overgrown and stinks like dead people and fish. Wind gusts are unbearable for shade awnings and our popup was scary here.

Good for drivables and million dollar busses.

Spectacular view (though many insects)

Amazing views! Glorious! Quiet! No road noise!

However, we remained in our RV most of the time as the flying insects (larger than mosquitos, but not sure what they are) were MANY! (It is right by the lake!)

It is glorious here though! Perfect temps in May! Incredible views! So grateful! Amen.

Beautiful sunrise

I stayed here 2 nights while skiing Brighton and snowbird. About an hour from the mountains and a beautiful site. Little to no privacy and no bathrooms but this place has a sunrise that will make you not want to leave. Good for low clearance vehicles.

Pretty views and pretty dusty

Stay a few nights here, AT&T service isn’t the best but it’s usable for browsing. T-Mobile service a little better, if you work remote then you could probably get away with it. Decent amount of traffic going in and out during the day. Quite a few fire pits spread throughout.

Easy BLM outside of Salt Lake

Great option just south of salt lake. The lake and Mountain View are beautiful! Pretty flat, the road in is fairly easy. There are about 8 sites along the main stretch with some other roads leading up hills, not sure what’s up there though. Some ppl potentially pushing the 14 day limit but no one gave me trouble or weird looks. No trees so not much privacy, the days I was there was super windy.

Amazing BLM awesome mountain and lake views

With 5th wheel, took a couple sites before we were happy. Landed with large windows facing lake, lovely.

Starlink is a little slower, but maybe cos I am roaming. 60 meg down, 7 or 8 meg up. Visible and Verizon pretty good

No facilities, but we’re self contained

Great place for free camping

The view is gorgeous in the mornings and evenings. Watching the paragliders on the weekends is cool as well. No bathrooms anywhere its as roughing it as it can get. And the wind sometimes is fierce and relentless

A Great Home Base for Any Size Camper

I love this spot. It's easy to get to and there are plenty of spots for everyone. It's very open so there's not much privacy, nor are there bathrooms. But it's beautiful at sunset and I will be staying here every time I'm traveling through the area. Only 40 minutes from SLC!

Decent little place. Fairly busy though.

Fun little place. Well known judging by the number of people camping there. Overall fairly quiet and enjoyable evening. Paragliders in the morning were fun to watch.

There's a lake

Simple primitive camping, a few spots for rv and trailers to pull through, good amount of area to pitch a tent. Rock fire rings, not too far from town. Pretty quiet, some road noise. Fantastic lake and mountain views.

Nice area, beautiful mountain and lake views

Spent a few nights there, easy access to Saratoga Springs for water, dump, and groceries. Sites were fairly level, but there were some instances of trash and broken glass so be wary when dropping your RV or camper. Would stay again!
